As Edris's daughter plays football with the Sheikh's son, his father rebukes him when he sees him with the girl, and his mother warns the girl. When the girl returns to her home, she finds her father sad because of the death of his sheep.
As the Sheikh asks to meet Edris and his daughter, he warns her to stay away from his son while she quarrels with him. When Maimon disappears after a quarrel with his father, the Sheikh gathers the people of the tribe and goes to Edris' tent, thinking that Elie has kidnapped him.
When the ewes of a woman in the tribe die, the Sheikh’s wife says that the cause of the misfortune is Edris and that he is a bad omen. The Sheikh, accompanied by the tribe people, decides to kick Edris and his daughter from the tribe. As Edris prepares his things to leave, his daughter refuses.
Elie discovers that the cause of the death of the animals is the well after the veterinarian examined them. The Sheikh orders the killing of his sick cow, but his son tells him that it was poisoned. Elie reveals to the people of the tribe the secret of the well, which is that it contains oil.
After the Sheikh discovers that the area contains petroleum, he asks the people not to inform the authorities and to keep the news within the tribe. When Maimon goes to Edris’s land, he falls into a trap that Elie has set.
As Elie releases Maimon, she asks him not to come to her land again. The Sheikh advises the farmers not to dig wells to search for oil. When Maimon's cousin, Hanan, arrives, his mother wants him to marry her.
As Edris goes with his daughter to the dome, he finds the lady there who tells him that there will be a disaster in the tribe, but he will escape from it. The Sheikh decides to marry his son to Hanan despite his refusal.
As someone digs into the land in search of oil, he finds the remains of one of the dead. The lady of the dome tells them as long as they exhume the graves, the bones will heal and the dead will come to life. The Sheikh and all the residents are afraid except Maimon, who thinks that her words are myths.
Elie discovers that the woman of the dome is just a liar that frightens the residents with myths and magic. Elie tells her that she is not afraid of her and confronts her, while the Sheikh's wife, who was complicit with the woman, does what she says.
As Maimon goes out with Hanan at night, they meet Elie by chance, and they see that people have dug most of the area. They find out that there is someone who's moving things in the haunted house so that they appear to be ghosts. The vet tells the Sheikh that only Edris has oil in the tribe.
After learning that Edris owns the oil, the Sheikh's wife goes to the lady of the dome and gives her money to scare Edris and his daughter. When someone offers food to Edris, he has a stomach ache and falls unconscious.
As the doctor, accompanied by Maimon, goes to treat Edris, he asks the people not to give him food while they ingratiate themselves to him for the oil. When the witch asks the Sheikh's wife for money and threatens to expose her to her son, she hits her and drops her to the ground.
As Maimon befriends Elie, Hanan is jealous of Elie and tries to embarrass her. Zanoub agrees with the Sheikh to have Sufyan come to the area and go to Edris.
Edris's son, Sufyan, returns at the request of the Sheikh who asks Edris to buy his land in exchange for settling Sufyan's debt, or he'd report him.
Sufyan agrees with the Sheikh to sell him his share of the land after Edris divided it between him and his sister, but he wants the half that has the oil well. Elie discovers Sufyan's relationship with the Sheikh. Maimon tells his mother that he will not marry Hanan.
Maimon becomes fond of Elie, but he does not tell her. When Hanan learns that Maimon loves Elie, she asks her to teach her how to work on the farm and become like her.
Hanan poses as Elie and works on the farm with animals so that Maimon likes her. Zanoub agrees with two men to kidnap Elie, and they take her at night in a car and run away.
As the two men torture the girl, they call Edris and ask him for ransom in exchange for her release; Maimon asks to hear her voice as she screams, but suddenly Elie appears with the children in front of them.
It turns out that Hanan is the one who got kidnapped instead of Elie. The Sheikh rescues Hanan from the deserted house; Elie discovers that he's the one behind this.
Edris goes to dinner with his daughter at the Sheikh’s house, who calls Sufyan to ask his father for forgiveness. Maimon tells Hanan that he does not want to marry her and that he loves another girl.
As both the Sheikh and Edris family go to a wedding party in the area, Maimon loves Elie’s dress and tells her that he does not love Hanan and loves someone else.
At the wedding, Edris tells the people of the region that he decided to divide up the oil with them, but the Sheikh tells him that can't because he's legally in charge of the area. When Zanoub learns that her son loves Elie, she asks Hanan to be like her in order to attract Maimon to her.
As Edris goes to the Sheikh with the deed of the land that belongs to his son and daughter, the Sheikh tells him that he has bought his son’s share, which upsets Edris and Elie. Sufyan tries to ask his father for forgiveness, but to no avail.
Maimon quarrels with his father because he seized the land of Edris and asks him to return it to him; the Sheikh refuses, while his mother tries to reconcile them. Hanan meets Elie and tries to imitate her so that Maimon would like her.
When the doctor decides to leave the area, the Sheikh asks him to stay or he will expose his secret that a patient of his has died in the city and he fled to the village. Zanoub tells her husband that she wants to wed Maimon to Elie in order to gain control of her land.
When Sufyan goes to the Sheikh to claim his right, he beats him and locks him up. When Maimon finds out, he lets Sufyan go, which upsets the Sheikh. The Sheikh asks the doctor to tell the people of the region that the land has no value.
When the doctor tries to stop Maimon from traveling, he tells him about Sufyan and how his father imprisoned him, so he goes to Edris and informs him. As the Sheikh asks Edris to leave the land for him to establish a huge project on it, he refuses.
As the land is divided into two halves, the residents are also divided between the Sheikh and Edris. As Zanoub quarrels with Elie and insults her mother, Maimon decides to leave the house.
As the Sheikh buys the land from Edris, he exposes how the doctor caused a patient to die during surgery. Maimon feels sad and decides to leave the area.
