As the family gathers to celebrate Khaled and Nada's anniversary, the celebration turns into a fight when Khaled discovers why Nada doesn't want to have kids. Maha discovers that her husband has started using drugs again. Her husband tries to hit her in front of their daughter but Khaled interferes.

Khaled's father is transferred to the hospital after he quarrels with his daughter for refusing to marry a suitor that he approved of. Khaled chastises his sister for causing their father's illness. Only the lawyer is allowed to see the father so that he could write his will.

Mona's husband Gahgahony tries to convince her and her sister Madiha to take care so that Khaled wouldn't seize their inheritance. Hajj Awad writes everything he has over to Khaled. Gahgahony asks the nurse Nesma to kill Awad so that his wife could inherit him.

Fearful that his sons-in-law would seize his fortune, Awad gets Khaled to sign off on contracts to transfer the deeds of the property to Khaled. Khaled initially objects but eventually acquiesces to his father's wishes. Khaled's father dies.

Khaled breaks down in the wake of his father's death and refuses to go to the stores or the company. When his sisters gather to discuss the inheritance, Khaled refuses to distribute the fortune or sell the stores. Maha prepares to sue for divorce, as Nashwa decides to sue to get her inheritance.

Aziz gets a copy of the key to Khaled's safe so that he could get all the documents pertaining to the property. He tries to get close to Maha. When Khaled is shot, Aziz manages to identify one of the shooters.

Khaled's mother convinces Nada to talk Khaled into taking another wife to have kids. Maha's husband tells Khaled that Aziz is the one who causes him to relapse. Khaled asks Maha to remarry.

The siblings clash over the inheritance, especially when they learn that Khaled intends to take another wife. Aziz claims that he loves Maha and gets her to fall for him. A thief assaults Khaled's mother.

Khaled tries to save Gahgahony from being imprisoned. The lawyer Assem gets his hand on a video showing Aziz having an affair with a woman, but Maha insists on going on with the wedding. Maha's ex-husband wants to take his daughter after Maha's wedding.

The family agrees to convince Khaled to take another wife, and his brother-in-law offers his own sister as a bride but Khaled refuses her. Khaled's stepmother learns that her husband wrote everything over to Khaled and decides to go to Egypt to claim her inheritance.

Khaled gets married in a lavish ceremony. Aziz tells Madiha that the new bride asked Khaled to write the house over to her. Khaled's new bride gets pregnant.

Aziz blackmails Nashwa with the scandalous video he has of her. Aziz tells Khaled's sisters that Khaled bought his new bride a villa worth two million pounds, and encourages them to get close to Khaled to get their money back.

Khaled's mother uncovers a plot against Khaled and that his second wife is part of it. Assem informs Khaled's wife that Aziz and Gahgahony are plotting against Khaled. Nada asks Khaled for a divorce but he refuses.

Khaled is shocked when Nada files for abdicative divorce (khula). Shahinaz gives Gahgahony a check without balance to use against Khaled who beats her when he discovers her plot. Maha's ex-husband shoots Aziz.

Khaled's mother discovers that Aziz is the one who assaulted her. Maha's ex-husband takes his daughter and flees, but Khaled manages to bring her back. Khaled asks the family lawyer to stop interfering with his life.

As the family prepares for Amira and Sobaih's wedding, they are shocked when Sobaih refuses to go through with the wedding because Amira has a child. Shahinaz grows jealous when Khaled celebrates Nada's birthday and brings her a lot of presents.

Someone sets Nada up and claims that she is cheating on Khaled, showing him text messages that prove his claims. Khaled divorces Nada and quarrels with Shahinaz when he learns that she fought with his mother and sisters.

Khaled tries to reassure his sisters and promises to write a document that guarantees their rights, but Aziz and Gahgahony tell them that this document holds no legal weight. The sisters fight with Shahinaz who falls off the stairs and loses her baby. Khaled kicks his sisters out.

Khaled is shocked when his ex-wife Shahinaz sues his sisters for compensation after they cause her miscarriage. Shahinaz's family asks for a million pounds but Shahinaz promises to drop the case if Khaled takes her back. Khaled's sisters sue him after he stops paying their monthly allowance.

When Khaled's mother accidentally kills Nashwa, Aziz tells her that he won't turn her in if she doesn't reveal the truth about him. Nada's manager proposes to her. Khaled discovers that Shahinaz plotted to get him to divorce Nada.

Khaled divorces Shahinaz and tries to reconcile with Nada but he discovers that the latter wed another guy. Khaled's sisters and Salek plot to kill Khaled but Maha tips him off. Maha's ex-husband recovers from addiction.

Khaled tells his sisters that he knows about their plot. When Salek is shot, Khaled is accused of attempted murder. Nada remains hung up on Khaled.

When Khaled is sentenced to three months in prison, Nada goes to visit him and he tries to win her back. Nada is shocked to find her new husband waiting for her when she leaves prison.

Khaled's sisters seize the money and start their individual projects. Assem reveals the murder that Khaled's mother tried to hide. Nada's mother dies. Shahinaz threatens to accuse Khaled's sisters of aborting her if they don't give her a million pounds.

Aziz blackmails Maha and her mother after he gets a recording of the murder that happened at the store. Madiha discovers that Salek swindled her.

When Khaled is released, his sisters tell him of what happened to them. The maid, Etemad, swindles the family after she married Shahinaz's uncle. Aziz manages to get half the store after blackmailing Khaled's mother.

Sameh is released and promises Maha and their daughter to turn a new leaf. Khaled is furious when he finds Aziz sitting in his father's place. Nada gets a divorce and gets back with Khaled. Shahinaz informs Khaled that she gave birth to his child.

Aziz's brother tries to get him to stop trying to tear the family apart but Aziz refuses. Aziz is informed that his daughter died in an accident. Gahgahony plots to seize his wife's money.

Salek advises Gahgahony and Aziz to leave the country to evade a guaranteed death sentence. Khaled is thrilled when he learns that Nada is pregnant. Khaled learns that Shahinaz switched her daughter with another baby.

Khaled beats Shahinaz till she reveals that his daughter is in an orphanage. Nada promises to be a mother to his daughter. Khaled witnesses a fight between Salek and Aziz. Aziz is killed.
