Najwa gets mad when her husband Ezzat tells their daughter he intends to celebrate his birthday in Alexandria, and she thinks he will be revisiting something; specifically, revisiting a past love story.

Noha is overjoyed that she could find a sponsor for her radio program, but the sponsor changes his mind once he meets Amina, another presenter, and decides to sponsor her show instead.

Khaled is growing suspicious of his wife and he decides to watch over her. Selim, meanwhile, rejects his mother's suggestion for him to get married.

Selim cooperates on a corruption case with his friend who is a chief prosecutor. Mohsen and Selim go to the opening ceremony of Sherine's café.

Selim accompanies his uncle Abdel Salam to meet his friend, and they start reminiscing over their past lives in Upper Egypt. Najwa faints at her book signing ceremony, and her husband takes her to the hospital.

Khaled vents to Selim about his problems with his wife. After she took some time off to look after her ill mother, Amina resumes her work.

The chancellor tells Amina and Selim that they have actually known each other from a young age. Selim forgives Amina and apologizes to her.

Najwa quarrels with Ezzat as she realizes he's not totally over his past love. Selim learns that the buffet worker has been eavesdropping on him.

Ezzat buys his wife flowers and asks for her forgiveness. Amina goes to Noha's house to reconcile and tells her she forgives her.

Amira tells her friend that the man she's currently seeing is God-sent and he can help make her dreams come true. Khaled learns that his wife is cheating on him.

Selim falls in love with Gharam, while Amina opens up to him about her life. Tarek proposes to Amira now that she is divorced.

Amina grows more anxious about Selim's mother. Mohsen invites Khaled and Selim over for dinner. The doctor tells Najwa she has a brain tumor.

Najwa tells Ezzat about her illness and asks him not to tell their daughter, but Ezzat is so overwhelmed he tells his brother-in-law.

Selim tells the chancellor that he is in love with his niece and recounts to him how they met.

Khaled heads to his son's school and takes him to live with him, and his ex-wife gets mad when she learns. Amina tries to incite Selim's jealousy by wearing revealing clothes.

Upon his sister's insistence, Khaled takes his son back to his mother. Following his problem with his mother, Selim gets cold with Amina.

Khaled goes to Selim's house with a bottle of wine in hand. Selim's mother approves of his relationship with Amina, but she leaves the city afterward.

Mohsen suggests a plan to help Selim reconcile with Amina. Ezzat berates his wife and daughter after learning that Selim wants to marry the latter.

Ezzat changes his mind and agrees to wed Amina to Selim, and the two men set the date for a family visit.

Selim and his family visit Amina's family to arrange for the wedding. Khaled gets to talk privately to Noha for the first time.

The chancellor tells Selim about Najwa's illness and the reason she wasn't herself on the engagement day. Khaled's sister gets mad when Amira tells her she will remarry when her Islamic period of waiting ends.

Selim learns that Khaled is advocating for the defendants in his case. Najwa's condition worsens that she resigns from work.

Selim assures Najwa they will bring forward the date for the wedding ceremony. Selim doesn't pick up Amina's calls.

Ezzat wants to tell Amina about her mother's illness. Khaled refuses to step aside and leave the case.

Najwa passes away after a struggle with her illness, and Amina bursts into tears in her mother's room.

Khaled tells his sister that he has a crush on Noha. Amina reproaches Selim for not telling her about her mother's illness.

When Selim asks to buy the apartment of Amina's father, Amina is shocked to learn that her father easily accepted to sell the apartment to Selim.

Ezzat tells Amina he wants to travel and live in Alexandria because that is the only place he can call home.

Ezzat bids his daughter farewell before he buys an apartment in Alexandria and travels there. Yamena urges Selim to make haste and marry Amina.

At a big wedding ceremony, Selim marries his beloved Amina, Berihan discovers that Mohsen is married and freaks out, and Hazem is plotting to get Selim on his honeymoon.
