As news spread that Darine's brother has killed her family before killing himself, Darine grows upset that her brother-in-law wants to remarry after her sister's death. Darine mulls over the fight she had with her parents over her relationship with Maher prior to the accident.

As Darine follows clues to figure out the truth about what happened, she rebukes Maher for neglecting her in her crisis. Mazen searches for Salwa. Darine gets her family's phones and reflects on the various fights her father had with her brother.

Maged reveals to Darine that Amer sent him a message, asking to meet him on the day of the crime. Maher cuts ties off with Darine, but he soon calls her after her uncle becomes a minister. Noura visits Darine to confide a secret, but she soon changes her mind after receiving a mysterious call.

Darine sabotages Maher's plans. Walid asks to reconcile with Qais and Darine. Mazen witnesses Maher harassing Darine in the street. Darine reveales Maher's lies to Samar.

As Noura visits Darine, the two go through Atef's phone together, with the former revealing that Atef continued to stalk her after she tried to end their relationship. Abu Nabil (Nabil's father) pays Darine the money he borrowed from her father.

Darine discovers that Ramy was cheating on her sister Ghenwa. Despite Ghenwa's desire for divorce, her father refused to allow it to protect the family's reputation. Walid contacts Darine, who refuses to reconcile with him.

Ramy denies having an affair. Walid visits Darine and denies his knowledge of the reason for Amer and Maged's fight. Darine reflects on her past relationship with Walid and the family feud over the inheritance.

Darine recalls the estrangement between her aunt and her father after the latter sold his share of the inheritance to a stranger. Qais mediates to reconcile Walid and Darine.

Darine looks over the messages between Atef and Noura. Mazen reflects on his previous relationships and how he met Darine during his work at her father's house.

Darine uncovers more details about her brother Atef, forcing her to confront how selfish she was with her family, which leaves her guilt-stricken.

Maged reveals to Darine the reason he quarreled with Amer three years ago, after he found a message from his sweetheart on Amer's phone, leading him to accuse Amer of betraying him with his sweetheart.

As Darine confronts Ramy about his cheating on Ghenwa and the latter's knowledge of his affair, she seeks to identify Ramy's lover. Darine reconciles with Walid. As Mazen and Darine meet again, the latter gives him the cold shoulder.

It's revealed that Mazen's friend, Faten, was Amer's sweetheart, and that he told her about his fight with Maged. Darine finds out more about her family's history from one of her relatives.

Even though she obeyed him when he ordered her to get close to Amer, Faten struggles to deal with Salem's harshness. Darine asks Mazen to drive her to meet Salwa and Faten; when she comes back, she discovers that Amer's phone was stolen from her house.

More details are revealed about Salem and Faten's agreement to blackmail Layth, a relative of Darine's father. Darine catches feelings for Mazen.

Darine suffers from nightmares. When Faten manipulates Salem, he beats her up. Mazen meets Faten and informs Darine of his plans. Lana informs Darine that there was tension between the latter's father and Layth before the accident.

Darine learns of a suspicious call between her father and Salem. Faten spies on Salem for Mazen. Layth discovers that Salem is playing Maher.

Atef's classmate, Aya, contacts Darine. Mazen tells Darine the information she needs from him. Darine discovers that Salem is the one who has been exploiting Faten and learns more about his plans.

Mazen falls for Darine. As Darine starts following Layth, Samar keeps sending him messages. Ramy sets his wedding date.

When Layth gets fired, he quarrels with Qais. Qais tells Darine that Salem's writings were actually ghost-written by Darine's father.

Darine confirms that Salem has been blackmailing her father. Qais and Layth reconcile. Layth starts seeing Samar. Darine and Mazen exchange messages.

Mazen refuses to deal with Faten again. When Mazen visits Darine, Walid quarrels with her, and she tells Walid that she doesn't love him. Darine reconciles with her aunt.

Mazen asks to wed Darine and takes her to meet his mother. Darine talks to her uncle Qais about what happened. Samar and Layth grow close.

Walid disapproves of Mazen due to the latter's poverty and causes a scandal for Darine. Mazen and Darine are shocked when Faten gets killed.

Darine's neighbor Karim informs her that Salma was at the family home at the time of the accident. He also reveales that Salma was having an affair with Darine's father and that she tried to kill herself.

Darine discovers that Mazen doesn't want kids. In a bid to get more information, Darine meets with Salem and asks for his help to figure out what happened.

As Salem invites Darine to dinner, he reveals that her family was fighting with Atef over the latter's addiction to drugs. He also reveals that Salma threatened to expose Darine's father in front of Atef.

Mazen marries Darine. As the situation deteriorates in Syria, Mazen's former friend, Hesham, confesses that Salem plotted to kill Qais after killing Faten.

When an article smears the name of Darine's father, her aunt's family gloats. Darine receives anonymous threatening letters, as well as mysterious recordings between unknown individuals from Amer's phone.

Mazen discovers that Maged is the one who has been sending the recordings, after he got Tawfik's mother to steal the phone. The last recording proves that Atef killed himself, but it was Salma who killed the rest of the family after exposing her affair with Darine's father.
