Alifa, a nurse at Sharif's hospital, helps women who got pregnant out of wedlock to give birth in her home and sells their babies to barren women, keeping their forged birth certificates and receiving help from her neighbor Marwa while being deprived of having children. Aida is honored at the Police Academy.

Alifa bribes Zainhom so that he would waive the report he filed against Saeed for beating him. Shaker quarrels with Farid for marrying Rania without his knowledge, and it turns out that he deprived Alifa of her inheritance because of Saeed. A woman goes to give birth at Alifa's.

Saeed tries to woo Marwa. Hassan overhears Marwa and Alifa talking about children. Farid and Rania meet Alifa at Sharif's hospital because of her repeated miscarriages.

Abdullah tells his whole story to Adel, who is taken aback and tells Abdullah that he is a Christian and not a Muslim like him. Abdullah's wife dies. As Farid visits Shaker, he and Rania kick him out. Saeed leaves the house because of his constant quarrels with Alifa.

Saeed divorces Alifa. Rania becomes pregnant. Aida goes with Suhair to Alifa's house, claiming that she needs a nurse, while Abdullah steals the forged birth certificates, which Aida hands over to the chief of detectives, who orders the arrest of Alifa, Marwa, and the birth certificates holders.

Alifa and Marwa flee with Hassan to Matruh. Adel meets the holders of the forged certificates and tells them the truth about their parents. Aida tells Sharif that Alifa has obtained the children's birth certificates in his hospital's name.

It turns out that the children who were sold have become prominent figures in society, including Samara, the football star, and Hisham, who works in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Abdullah dies, while Hassan, Alifa, and Marwa plan to flee to Libya.

Alifa is taken to the hospital, and it turns out that she has leukemia. Rania gives birth to twins. Shaker tells Aida about Alifa's past, and she tells him that Farid's wife has given birth to twins.

Alifa asks Hassan to marry her and Marwa. Adel tries to get close to his two sisters, Nadia and Nada, after Abdullah's death. Alifa travels with Hassan and Marwa to the Sharqia Governorate to visit her parents' grave, after which they run away and get lost in the desert.

The police arrest a Bedouin man who promised Hassan to smuggle him to Libya. Nadia agrees to work with Adel. The police are still looking for Alifa, while the Bedouin men in Matruh find Alifa, Marwa, and Hassan passed out.

Alifa tells the truth to Sheikh Salam, who orders that her medicine be brought, upon which the police track down who bought the medicine and learn they are in Matruh. Alifa helps Salam's daughter Fadwa give birth, so he promises her to take them out of Egypt. Adel makes Nada work with him. Hisham kills himself.

The detective inspector goes to Salam's house to ask him about Alifa, but Salam denies knowing them and smuggles them to Al Mamurah, whereupon the police raid his house and arrest him, Bakr, and Fadwa.

Hassan marries Marwa. Adel tells Nada and Nadia the truth of his lineage. Alifa's health deteriorates and she dies. Adel and Aida decide to travel and marry abroad, while Maher decides to marry Mimi.
