The series follows the life of Sayf al-Din Qutuz, the powerful Mamluk leader who defeated the Mongols and stopped them from conquering Egypt. At the time, Egypt was ruled by the fifteen-year-old son of Izz al-Din Aybak, who was weak and naive. With courage and determination, Qutuz and his soldiers prevailed in the Battle of Ain Jalut.
