At a young age, Manayer gets married to a man much older than her. Abd El-Latif strikes a partnership with another businessman. Adnan informs his mother that he wishes to marry. Manayer's daughter Ahlam gets a job at a lawyer's office, whereas Manayer's son, Zaid, is arrested.

Manayer's son takes refuge in a friend's apartment to escape from the police. Abd El-Latif opposes the idea of his son's marriage unless he gets a job, and Adnan perceives his father's rejection as mere miserliness. Nadia decides to retire from work.

Nadia communicates to Nawal her concern over her retirement, and Nawal tells her about Adnan's marriage and his father's disapproval. Lawyer Jassem tells Manayer that her son's disappearance is not in his favor. To get an anticipated deal, Abd El-Latif agrees to wed his son to Abo Nawaf's daughter.

Rizqa urges her son to postpone his wedding until the first anniversary of his father's death. Jassem and Rashed strongly oppose their brother Adnan's marriage. Nawal learns that her husband is taking advantage of his son's marriage just to make his business robust.

Zaid quarrels with his sisters over their relationships and their work preferences. Anfal and Hussein also quarrel over postponing their marriage. Abd El-Latif tells his wife that he will take care of Adnan's wedding.

Adnan's brothers do their best to dissuade their mother from wedding Adnan to Abo Nawaf's daughter, but their attempts are thwarted as Adnan himself is convinced of the match. After Manayer predicts something unpleasant to Nadia, the latter asks her sister to throw Manayer out.

Rizqa quarrels with her son Hussein for not breaking up with Anfal. Enraged that his sister has informed their mother, Hussein beats his sister and she is transferred to the hospital. Abd El-Latif acts against his wife's wishes and refuses to appoint Nadia at his company.

Manayer warns her daughter Ahlam against her relationship with Jassem, so Jassem tries to change things and asks for Ahlam's hand. Nawal tries to convince Nawal to spice up her life and try to change her daily routine.

Zaid's sisters resent the idea of their mother selling her jewelry to pay off Zaid's debts. Jassem informs his mother of his desire to marry a girl that is not as rich as they are, and his mother initially agrees. Manayer loses consciousness and goes to the hospital.

Jassem tells Ahlam that his mother agrees to their wedding. Manayer tries to get Nawal to help her pay off her son's debts. Adnan's wedding takes place.

Ahlam resents her mother's work at Nawal's house, given the fact that Nawal is Jassem's mother. After the wedding, Adnan is taken by surprise by his wife's looks, so he runs away in terror. Badr learns that his mother told Manayer about wedding him to Anfal.

Jassem tells his brothers that he intends to marry Ahlam, which stirs general discontent in the family due to the difference in social classes between the two. Manayer bears the brunt of Nawal's wrath. Zaid's brother meets Fahd and they become friends.

After being expelled, Manayer returns home heavy-hearted and abashed. Abo Nawaf is taken to the hospital, and he asks Abo Rashed to take care of the company in his absence.

Nadia opens the café that is to be run by Zaid. Adnan desperately tries to persuade his parents to let him divorce his wife, but to no avail. Manayer and her daughters head to Nawal's house.

At Nawal's house, Manayer begs Nawal to forgive her and pledges to keep Ahlam away from Jassem. Nawal asks Rashed to get Ahlam a job at his company. Nadia finds Zaid's management unsatisfactory due to his direct contact with the clients. Adnan meets Anfal and instantly falls for her.

Manayer incites her daughter to marry Jassem in secret and asks for a huge dowry. Abd El-Latif grants Ahlam a job at his company, and Manayer seizes the opportunity to force her other daughter Anfal into working at the same company to lure Abd El-Latif.

Zaid is surprised by Amal's demand that he return her money. Manayer, meanwhile, resumes her scheme to wed her daughters to Abd El-Latif and his sons.

Manayer is dissatisfied with her daughter's job at the archive department, so she asks Youssef to find her another position that'll get her closer to Abd El-Latif. Nadia fires Zaid from the café upon learning that he's Manayer's son.

The date for Jassem and Ahlam's wedding has been set, and Manayer gets the dowry to pay off Zaid's debts. Adnan quarrels with his wife, urging her to leave the house and return to her parents. Zaid assumes his job at the café.

Nawal and Mashaer go to the beauty salon to give Mashaer a makeover improving her appearance. Jassem and Ahlam get married. Altaf starts to effect her mother's plan to entrap Abd El-Latif. Nadia, meanwhile, starts to like Zaid.

Manayer resumes her plots as she tries to distance Hussein and Anfal, and she is trying to lure Adnan into developing true feelings for Anfal. Fahd learns that his sweetheart is Zaid's sister.

Rizqa advises Hussein to keep away from Anfal. Fahd tells his mother that he is head over heels in love with Zaid's sister. Abd El-Latif learns that Anfal is the one who changed the decorations of his office.

Grieving that Anfal left him, Hussein collapses and is transferred to the hospital. Mashaer, meanwhile, returns home after having a makeover, and Adnan decides to try to fix their relationship. Abd El-Latif falls for Alaf and Nadia falls for Badr.

Manayer tries to convince Nawal that it's in her son's favor to marry another girl temporarily and then he shall return to his first wife. Rashed observes as his brother Jassem enters Manayer's house using his own key.

Manayer claims that Jassem came to her house to help solve Zaid's problem. Nawal reluctantly agrees to wed Adnan to Manayer's daughter.

Things are still unstable between Jassem and Ahlam. Fahd tells Nadia that he's in love with her. Manayer tries to turn Jassem against his brothers.

Manayer provides Nawal with a set of conditions before she weds her daughter to Adnan. Zaid has an accident, and he falsely claims that he attempted suicide over Nadia's rejection of him.

Jassem is upset that his parents treat him unfavorably compared to his brother Adnan. Altaf accuses Youssef of hitting on her and sending her messages, and despite Youssef's attempts to defend himself and reveal Altaf's deception, Abd El-Latif doesn't believe him.

Zaid manages to swindle Nadia out of a great sum of money under the pretext of setting up a new project. Abd El-Latif asks for Altaf's hand, and she agrees on the condition that he divorces Nawa. Jassem informs his mother that he saw his father at Manayer's house.

All the dark secrets are revealed, and Nawal cannot believe that Manayer managed to deceive the family both financially and emotionally. Fahd shoots Zaid dead after he learns about his relationship with his mother. Zaid marries Zamzam, and Abd El-Latif marries Altaf.
