As Rashid acquires a master's degree, he returns to Kuwait and his family celebrates him. Sheikha's father still refuses to meet her because of her taking off her abaya, as he prevents her from coming to his home.
As Rashid's mother objects that Rashid and his wife don't have children, she rejects the idea of them living in a separate house. Sheikha is surprised by her brother Mahmoud who gets in her way, as he objects to her learning how to drive.
Mahmoud causes his sister, Sheikha, to have a tragic accident, after which she loses her fetus because of it.
As Musaed succeeds in his business, his company grows bigger. Rashid and Sheikha move to their new home. Mahfouz confesses his love to Samira.
As Sheikha returns to her work after her sick leave, she finds that her office was moved to another place. Mahfouz asks Saleh to intercede for him to marry Samira, but her father refuses due to the social difference between them. Rashid decides to travel to Egypt to obtain a doctorate degree.
Samira tells Mahfouz that her father has prevented her from working in the office of the lawyer, Saleh. As Musaed's wife complains about his neglect of her and his home because of his work, she decides to leave the house.
Musaed threatens his wife to deprive her of her children if she leaves the house, while Samira asks him to teach her how to drive. As Rashid tries again to convince his father to agree to the marriage of Samira and Mahfouz, he refuses. Musaed and his family move to a new house.
Abu Musaed is upset at Rashid's objection to his father's running for the elections. Samira opens her own law firm.
Samira refuses to force her mother to marry one of their relatives. Sheikha volunteers to work as a teacher, and she falls pregnant. Abu Musaed wins the elections. As Taiba asks her father to enroll in the university, her brothers refuse.
Sheikha gives birth to her first child. Musaed approaches his secretary and admires her. Saleh is forced to defend Faisal.
As years pass, Rashid and Sheikha return with their daughter to Kuwait. Sheikha takes over her work in the ministry. Samiha and her husband are subjected to threats and violations by unknown persons because they are Egyptians.
Samiha is surprised that the girls at school do not want to deal with her because she is Egyptian. Musaed marries his secretary Maryam, so Laila asks for a divorce.
Samiha's husband asks her to return to Egypt. Samira decides to take off the abaya. Laila goes back on the divorce decision and asks her husband to write his property in her name. Sheikha's father loses all his money after speculating on the stock exchange.
Rashid is exposed to an attempted murder. Sheikha gets shot and is taken to the hospital, while her father falls sick after losing all his money. Samira asks Mahfouz to travel and get married away from her family.
Rashid dies; Mahfouz resigns from work; Sheikha's brother insists on selling her home.
The police force Sheikha's brothers to sign a restraining order on her. As Samira discovers that her brother Tariq has stolen all of her money, Hamdi divorces her. The events of the Gulf War take place.
Musaed and Laila lose their son among the missing in the Gulf War, while Musaed's father dies. As years pass by, Sheikha's daughter grows up, enrolls in the university and travels abroad to complete her studies.
Alia suffers from her husband Khaled's neglect of her during their stay abroad, and his lack of interest in her pregnancy. Laila is still hurting by the loss of her son in the Gulf War.
After Alia gives birth to her first child, she decides to return to Kuwait and asks for a divorce from Khaled. Samiha dies alone in her home. Alia is chosen to play at the Carthage Festival.
As Alia achieves great success in her work, she demands the empowerment of women with their right to make fateful decisions without restrictions. Mahfouz meets Samira and tells her that he's a family man.
