After divorce, Dina heads to Alexandria to find a new job, and she lands one in a software company. Yehia leaves Alexandria and goes to the hospital to get treatment for a serious illness he has been infected with.

Dina finds Yehia's diaries and learns about his illness and they become close friends. Nadia's brother quarrels with her because she returns home late.

Youssef and Talaat are trying to figure out a way to settle things between Talaat and Laila. Laila and Dina meet and they talk about their divorces. Dina quarrels with the landlady because she interferes in her personal matters.

Magdi proposes to Rabab and her parents agree. Nadia meets Sami and tries to charm him. Hussein quarrels with Rabab because she doesn't answer his calls.

Tarek proposes to Laila and she promises to consider the matter. Hussein picks a fight with Rabab, and when Laila intervenes, he insults her and hints at her being 'divorced'.

Emad drowns in immense sorrow. Hussein asks for Rabab's forgiveness and she grants him that.

Yehia falls to the ground and he is transferred to the hospital. Nadia and Sami get closer. Youssef develops feelings for Laila and asks her to meet outside the company.

Sami and Nadia meet and they open up about their pasts and their personal matters. Youssef's feelings for Laila intensify. Raouf thanks Dina for being so kind as to visit Yehya in the hospital to check on him.

Raouf travels to Alexandria to spend more time with Dina. Meanwhile, Tarek tells Laila that he has feelings for her, and Sami gets close with Nadia; Nadia rejects Emad.

Emad drowns in a vicious circle of grief and sorrow now that his feelings are overlooked by Nadia. He quarrels with his parents and blames them for his constant hesitation and weak personality.

Magdi and Rabab get closer and he advises her to continue her college education; Rabab realizes that he is wiser than she thought. Dina and Raouf go out more and they get closer to one another.

Just as he was picking himself up, Emad learns that Nadia and Sami are getting married.

Yehya's health is deteriorating, and Dina calls Yehya's ex-partner to bring his son to see him. Yousef confesses love to Laila and tells her that he wants to marry her. Emad has a nervous breakdown after learning that Nadia agreed to marry Sami.

Laila decides that she will not respond to any of the suitors before she properly contemplates the matter. Sami asks Emad about Nadia, and Emad tells him that she is indeed a respectable girl and everyone at work loves her.

Youssef's aunt objects to his desire to marry Laila, especially that she is divorced. Magdi asks Rabab to quit her job. Yehya rejoices at seeing his son.

Emad gets close with Walaa, and they open an accounting office together. Talaat yells at Youssef and reprimands him after he learns about his engagement. Raouf marries Dina. Sami and Nadia get engaged.

Yehya passes away. Laila and Talaat get into trouble. Raouf's first wife asks for a divorce and she tells Dina that she is pregnant.

Hussein coincidentally meets Magdi and Rabab in Alexandria, and he threatens her. Laila and Talaat quarrel and she slaps him; Talaat is incessantly trying to ruin things between Youssef and Laila.

Youssef gets mad at Laila after he learns that Tarek proposed to her. Emad tells his parents that they are being over-protective and this is negatively affecting him.

Laila gets in trouble with her manager after he refuses to fire Talaat. Rabab breaks up with Hussein and tells him that she genuinely loves Magdi.

Salma senses that she is about to die, so she asks Dina to take care of her son. Sami overhears Nadia's conversation with Laila, and he divorces her after he learns about her intrigue.

Hussein meets Rabab's family and proposes to her. Meanwhile, Nadia's father meets Sami and demand a clear explanation of what went wrong on the wedding day and why he divorced Nadia. Rabab's father tells her to return home urgently.

Talaat sees Laila at the disco and threatens to tell her husband. Rabab's father is acquainted with his daughter's relationship with Hussein, and he decides to wed her to Magdi. Nadia tells Sami that she still loves him.

Salma asks Dina to stay with her and their friendship strengthens. Youssef is enraged to learn about the disco incident. Magdi has a sudden change of heart concerning his marriage.

Youssef and Laila reconcile, and so do Sami and Nadia. Magdi and Rabab get engaged. Dina learns that she has problems that might prevent her from getting pregnant.

Talaat hires a prostitute to ruin things between Laila and Youssef, but his plans are thwarted as Youssef bluntly rejects the girl.

Talaat plays one last trick when he sends himself a text from Laila's phone. In spite of Talaat's plots, Laila and Youssef get married. Emad also proposes to Walaa.

Emad asks his ex-girlfriend to work as his secretary, which enrages Walaa. Magdi goes to Cairo to completely avoid his wife. Talaat is still plotting to break off Youssef and Laila's marriage.

Magdi reconciles with Rabab after he is assured that she's completely over her ex-boyfriend. Salma dies after giving birth to a baby girl. Youssef murders Talaat and hits Laila severely.

Youssef is arrested after killing Talaat. In the hospital, Laila visits him and assures him that she won't leave him. All the people are reunited at young Salma's birthday. Youssef is released from prison.
