Jabal used to be in love with Mariam whom he was going to marry. Sultan is annoyed that Seliman is smuggling illegal goods.

Sultan weds his son Jabal to Mariam. During the wedding, Sultan is betrayed and killed.

Ghazy and Gamal are arrested. Sultan dies despite Jabal's attempts to resuscitate him.

Jabal vows to avenge his father. He grows suspicious of Seliman Al-Sa'eid and plots to kill him, but his brother Adel kills Seliman first.

In the wake of Seliman's death, Jabal's family clashes with Al-Sa'eid's family. Jabal decides to wed Seliman's daughter, Somaya, to end the blood feud.

Nedal is upset that Jabal has married Somaya whom Nedal loves. Gamal testifies against Ghazy so that he could free himself. Shahine breaks off his engagement to Mona.

Jabal learns that Nahed is the one who asked Gamal to testify against Ghazy. As tension rises between the cousins, Jabal is betrayed and arrested.

Jabal spends two years in prison. When he is being transferred back to his country, he breaks out of prison. Somaya decides to leave Jabal.

Jabal returns to Al-Heiba after his escape. Ghazy incites his son, Shahine, against Jabal.

Jabal admonishes Sakhr for his inability to bear responsibility. Mona asks Somaya to give Jabal a chance and to adjust to her life with him.

Nedal asks Somaya to kill Jabal. Jabal learns that Nazem, Hulu, and Aboud are involved in the riots and are smuggling illegal goods.

Jabal warns Shahine against working with Nazem. Jabal learns of Sakhr's alcoholism and refuses to allow Magdy to marry Mona.

Abu Ali tells Jabal of Sakhr's suffering during Jabal's imprisonment. Shahine searches the cars and learns that Ghazy is working with Nazem.

Sakhr starts to improve. Jabal decides to discipline Nedal and Somaya after he learns of their plot to kill him. Magdy tells Mona that Jabal offered him money to leave her.

Jabal disciplines Nedal. Fanous looks for Shahine after the latter double-crosses Hulu and seizes his good. Hulu locks Shahine up.

As Jabal frees Shahine, the cousins reconcile and Hulu gets arrested. Jabal threatens Nazem when he learns that the latter is smuggling heavy weapons into Al-Heiba.

Somaya's behavior towards the family starts to improve. Jabal tells his mother about Nazem's betrayal. Nedal vows revenge on Jabal. Jabal decides to fight corruption in Al-Heiba.

Shahine regrets letting Mona go. Mona begs Jabal to let her marry Magdy.

Shahine's mother is concerned about her children's closeness with their cousins. Jabal approves Mona and Magdy's marriage.

Mona marries Magdy. Nazem runs for the parliament. When Hulu is released, Nazem asks him to marry Salma.

Nahed is upset that Jabal is still hung up on Mariam and is keeping his distance from Somaya. Salma refuses to marry Hulu.

Somaya and Jabal's relationship improves. Mona quarrels with Magdy when she discovers that he is blackmailing his students. When Hulu threatens their father, Salma's sister, Rola, decides to marry Hulu.

Somaya refuses to have kids with Jabal. Marwa tries to escape Hulu's gang. Shahine searches for the guy whom Jabal suspects of killing his father.

Shahine gathers information about his uncle's killer. Al-Mokhtar tells Jabal that Hulu stole Taymour Tag Al-Din's car. Marwa is unable to escape.

Jabal finds Taymour's car. When Magdy takes his hatred of Mona's family out on her, Sakhr stands up to him. Hulu marries Rola.

Mona is upset that Sakhr beat Magdy. Al-Deb helps Marwa escape Hulu's men. Hulu tries to ruin Salma's life as punishment for refusing to marry him.

Jabal ensures that Nazem loses the elections. When Nazem tries to retaliate by burning the stores, Jabal and his men face off against him.

Nahed warns Nazem to stay away from her family. Magdy resigns from his job. Jabal helps Marwa and Al-Deb. Nahed learns that Somaya is taking contraceptives.

Rola tells Mona that Hulu and Nazem are plotting against Jabal. Jabal kills Hulu. Somaya tries to kill herself when Jabal tries to leave her.

Jabal and his men end Hulu's reign of terror over Al-Heiba. Shahine finds his uncle's killer who confesses that Nazem is the one who hired him to kill Sultan. Nazem commits suicide. Jabal learns that his brother, Adel, has died.
