Malak arrives from abroad and insists on attending a symposium for the political activist, Seif, who claims that he had been detained. Her brother, Aubaid, tries to prevent her from getting involved with Seif.

Officer Barakat threatens to detain Seif for real. Malak's sister, Rafif, is upset that she has returned because Malak and Rafif's husband used to be in a relationship. Barakat tells Malak to stay away from Seif.

The authorities send Inshrah to infiltrate the party and report on Seif. Aubaid asks Seif to run for the Parliament. Mohga refuses to go back to her ex-husband Men'em.

Seif wants money and to lead the party in order to run for the Parliament. Rafif takes sedatives to get over her doubts that Osama is still in love with Malak. Seif asks Malak to pretend to be his wife for a party in the American Embassy.

Malak reflects on her previous engagement to Osama and how he refused to marry her at the last minute. Rafifi reminds Osama that although he left Malak on orders from Khaled, he still loves her and calls Rafif by her name.

Khaled arrives from abroad and is furious at his manager for not telling him that Malak has returned. Seif and Malak attend the party in the American Embassy. Seif asks for Malak's help to start a new party.

The American Ambassador agrees to cooperate with Seif. Aubaid tells Malak to stay away from Seif. Rafif insists on getting a divorce. Seif is arrested for sexual harassment.

Barakat questions Malak about her relationship with the American Ambassador. Khaled insists on meeting Seif. Seif's assistant, Sanaa, and her brother Hatem are arrested for taking drugs.

Khaled hires Karim to defend Seif. Rafif decides to get in touch with Khaled to get rid of Malak. Seif is released and threatens Aubaid.

Malak tells Zaher that she won't give in to Khaled and Aubaid's threats. Osama tells Rafik that his sister and Seif have an unregistered marriage. Rafif informs Tahany that Malak has returned and accompanied Seif to a party.

Rafif is concerned that Osama will get back together with Malak. Malak's brother, Abdel Rahman, asks Seif to meet with Khaled. Malak refuses Aubaid's interference with her life.

As Sanaa quarrels with Malak, the latter tells her that she is the founder of Seif's political association. Seif and Abdel Rahman meet Khaled who asks for Seif's help to wed Malak.

Seif refuses to announce his marriage to Tahany. Mohga gets a publishing deal. The village's mayor threatens Seif's grandmother to get her to sell him her house. The State Security Investigation Service arrest Mohga. Sanaa asks Zaher to get Malak away from Seif.

Major General Roshdy tells Mohga to distance herself from Malak. Barakat recruits Reham as an informant. Khaled asks to meet Aubaid. Malak warns Seif that Khaled wants to use him to get to her.

Tahany is furious that Seif broke his promise to bring her son. Malak asks Zaher to partner up with her. Aubaid is angered that the American Embassy is supporting Seif.

Seif and Malak try to get the support of the president of a civil society organization. Rafif goes back to a psychiatrist. Malak asks Zaher to open accounts for their projects and asserts that they need to keep it a secret.

Seif reflects on his parents escape from the village when he was little and how his father burned down the factory where he worked after being treated unfairly. Barakat tells Roshdy about Aubaid's relationship with Nahid, the sister of Gamal who belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).

Malak asks Zaher to maintain secrecy during his visit to London. Malak visits Rafif. Mohga informs Osama that she is throwing a party that Malak invites Khaled to.

Tahany asks Mohga to ask after her ex-husband and her son as she suspects that Mamdouh divorced her for Malak. Seif asks Yasser to write a series of articles about human rights. Malak denies being in a relationship with Mamdouh.

Tahany tells Malak of how Mamdouh divorced her suddenly and left with their son. Nadia warns Seif about her brother Gamal. Barakat instructs Reham to get close to Seif.

Sanaa fights with Tahany. Rafif orders one of the workers at the stable to shoot one of Malak's horses.

When Yasser's son and Aubaid's daughter try to join Seif's foundation, Sanaa kicks them out. Malak confesses her love for Seif.

Malak tells Seif that Khaled forced Osama to bail on their marriage. Malak informs Rafif that she is over Osama.

Sanaa threatens to kill Seif if he marries another woman. Khaled asks to meet Malak.

Shadia gives Mohsen a cigarette with cannabis that causes him to pass out. Rafif confesses her love for Seif. Nadia records Aubaid and Nahid in the bedroom.

Sanaa holds a press conference to announce Seif's disappearance. Aubaid and Nada search for Fady and Malak tells them that he is at her place. When Sanaa announces that Seif has been arrested, the State Security Investigation Service detains her.

Roshdy tells Malak that Seif was at his place with Tahany. Gamal asks Aubaid to buy his company's shares. Roshdy decides to detain Seif.

Sanaa is released. Seif agrees to cooperate with Roshdy. Aubaid sends men to kidnap Nahid. Aubaid gets in an accident and dies.

Aubaid's guard confesses that Aubaid was heading to Ain Sokhna to meet his second wife. Nahid escapes and returns to Gamal's house. Nada refuses to attend Aubaid's funeral.

Malak is angry that Nada doesn't care about Aubaid's death. Lotfy reveals that Malak is the founder of the "Calling You" organization. Khaled tells Seif that he wants to marry Malak.

Khaled tells Seif that Malak is using him to get back at her siblings, especially Rafif. Gamal is angry with Hassan when he discovers that he is a member of the MB. Hassan tells Gamal that Nadia was in a relationship with Seif. Khaled offers to buy Aubaid's company.

Malak threatens Gamal using the video that shows Nahid with Aubaid. The mayor of Seif's village asks him to run for the Parliament. Hassan recruits Spider, Aubaid's assistant, to inform him of Zaher's actions.

Yasser learns that Seif is getting funding from abroad in exchange for his articles. Hassam tells Gamal that Abdel Rahman was planning to seize Aubaid's company for Khaled.

Sanaa vows to get back at Seif. Malak has a new TV show and invites Seif on as a guest. Nadia, Khaled, and Hassan meet with Seif.

Malak decides to buy Aubaid's company. Hassan asks Seif to help him get the company for Khaled. Rafif wants Osama to buy the company.

Rafif warns Seif about Malak. Seif is assigned to contact the youth who attended human rights seminars in Serbia.

Osama tries to convince Malak to let him buy Aubaid's company. Rafif meets Charlie, the representative of an American organization.

Seif forges the signature of his village's people. Malak confesses her love for Seif. The State Security Investigation Service keeps an eye on what Seif, Sanaa, and Hatem are doing.

Yasser proposes to Mohga. Hassan informs Khaled that the MB members don't want to establish a political party to avoid government interference. Seif abandons Sanaa when she is arrested.

Malak asks Seif to work with Khaled. Osama asks Malak to sell him Aubaid's company. Khaled asks to meet Aubaid's widow to buy her share in Aubaid's company.

Malak asks to meet Khaled. Shadia wants to marry Mohsen before they leave for the US. Malak wonders about the connection between the MB and the US administration.

Nada agrees to sell her share in Aubaid's company as Gamal proposes to her. Seif's grandmother refuses to sell her house to the mayor. Tahany takes drugs after she learns that her son is an addict.

The US State Department vows to support human rights organizations. Abdel Rahman tells Gamal that Khaled no longer wants Aubaid's company. Seif's grandmother is arrested.

When Tahany appears on Malak's show to discuss her sobriety, she is surprised to find her son in the audience. Roshdy learns that Seif intends to run for president. Rafif asks Seif to stay away from Khaled.

Gamal marries Nada. Malak discovers that Osama is plotting to become a minister. Khaled threatens to reveal that Malak has been laundering money using her job. As Seif announces his run for president, he gets kidnapped.
