Abu Muhammad (Muhammad's father) travels with his family on a short trip, and during their return, a tragic car accident happens and Abu Muhammad and his wife die.
Umm Khaled (Khaled's mother) convinces her husband to take care of his brother Abu Muhammad's children after his death so that he can seize his money. Abu Khaled agrees that Fahd look after Mazen after he was paralyzed in the accident and he discriminates between him and his brother Muhammad.
Fahd asks the employee Ahmed to monitor Abu Khaled in his management of the company. Abu Khaled and his wife's way of treating Muhammad changes for the worse. Saad bargains with his sister, Umm Khaled, not to tell her husband about her past in exchange for money.
Years pass and Muhammad and Mazen succeed in their studies, while Abu Khaled’s children fail. Ahmed discovers Saad’s embezzlement of the company’s funds.
Muhammad travels abroad to complete his studies. Fahd is accused of squandering the company's money, while Saad subcontracts business deals for himself behind Abu Khaled's back.
Saad suggests to Abu Khaled that Mazen return to live in his house in order to control him. Problems arise between Saad and Mazen as the latter tries to interfere in the company's affairs.
Saad hands Umm Khaled the documents for her share in the company. The relationship between Fahd and his wife Fatima becomes tense after he leaves home. Umm Khaled asks her husband to marry her friend Noura in order to save her from her problems with her late husband’s children.
Saad seizes the company's shares. As a shareholder bargains with Abu Khaled about his marriage to his daughter Amani so that he does not submit documents incriminating him to the court, Abu Khaled is forced to borrow from Noura to pay off his debts in return for registering the company in her name.
Amani gets married; Abu Khaled tells Mazen to sell the house and company in order to pay off the debts; the doctor tells Noura that she is infected with AIDS.
The doctor tells Abu Khaled that he is not infected with AIDS, while Mazen asks his uncle to hand over the company to him and threatens to file a lawsuit against him.
Mazen enlists the help of Ahmed to restore his father's company and discovers Noura has shares in the company.
As Mazen takes over the management of the company, he gets his father's house and expels Abu Khaled, who divorces his wives, Noura and Umm Khaled.
As Abu Khaled seeks to recover his money from his wife, he goes mad. Umm Khaled travels with her daughter Amani for treatment abroad, and Saad is arrested.
