Lucious tries to get ahead of a problem that could tie him to Bunkie's murder. Cookie tries to hide her connection to the FBI. Things come to a head between Lucious and Jamal.

Cookie tries to reconcile Jamal and Hakeem to help with the company image. Anika sabotages Cookie's plans for Elle. Lucious reveals his terminal diagnosis to his family.

As the family deals with the aftermath of Lucious's revelation, Andre feels alienated from the family by his lack of musical talent. Jamal makes a shocking public announcement.

As Anika's betrayal comes to light, the Lyons close ranks to fight against their rivals. Andre makes a decision that ends up threatening his mental stability.

Cookie leaves Lucious as she comes to find out about Andre's bipolar disorder. As Jamal's life hangs in the balance, Lucious makes a shocking confession about Lola.

Hakeem turns on Lucious when he finds out about his confrontation with Camilla. Lucious pushes Jamal to be more like him. Andre finds solace in his faith.

With Lucious antagonizing most of his family, they all come together to plot against him, which leaves them at odds with Jamal. A confrontation between Vernon and Andre takes a horrifying turn.
