In Pharaonic Egypt, a struggle for power arises between the princes of Upper and Lower Egypt, led by the prince of Tell Basta, Sabako, and the prince of the city of Thebes, Ramesses. They enter into a war for power and to win the beautiful bride Akis, who is in love with her cousin, the young doctor Amosis.
