Nasser runs a massage center, and a nurse who works with him suggests that he hire her poor friend. Another nurse also works there, and she wants to migrate to Italy by boat.

Yehia decides not to sail with them because the man has stolen his father’s boat; Amin also leaves in anger. The nurse tells her friend to go with her to the center to meet the manager, and she's happy when she hears the news, especially since she's facing problems with her son.

When Al-Awam's son succeeds and becomes a doctor, he holds a party for him and invites all the people of the region. When Salma asks her brother to go to work in the massage center to cover her son's expenses, he refuses because he's worried about what people would say.

When the two girls come out of detention, the officer thinks about using one of them to work for him, like Amin. Salma quarrels with her brother, and shhe finds her son drinking alcohol. Habib tries to comfort her; he asks her to marry him but she refuses.

Emad, Salim's son, meets Nour Al-Din's daughter in college and asks her to be friends. Shaker goes with his mother to propose to his girlfriend, but Nour Al-Din refuses. When Salma goes to work, Nasser admires her. She quarrels with her son, who embarrasses her in front of her friend.

When Si Al-Araby is physically assaulted, he goes to the police and submits a report. Nour Al-Din tells Habib about his daughter, Qamar, and Habib tries to comfort him. Karim meets a French woman and tries to exploit her financially.

Nour Al-Din decides to marry Jamila to Shaker. Habib asks Salma to quit her work but she refuses. The French woman asks Karim to find her daughter’s, Catherine, father, Gaber Al-Sahily.

Al-Araby learns that Kamal runs an apartment for prostitution; the police raid the apartment and arrest everyone. Catherine's mother asks her to travel with her to France, but the girl is hesitant. Nour Al-Din admires the seamstress that came to his house for Qamar.

Al-Araby wonders how the two men are acquitted from the prostitution case. Catherine is happy to meet her sister. Noura takes her son and rents another apartment far from Kamal. The police try to recruit Amal to work with them.

Amal is attacked by a group of delinquents but she doesn't inform the police. Makram goes to the capital and meets the people of his region. Nour Al-Din falls in love with the seamstress and she is also trying to get close to him; he talks to one of the sailors to marry his daughter Qamar.

Nour Al-Din tells Khadija he wants to get a divorce in order to marry the seamstress because he wants to have a son. Qamar is happy when the sailor proposes to her. Emad tries to approach Amal, but she rejects him.

Sabry and his companions try to sail illegally to Italy, but when his mother finds out, she stops him. Amal goes with the head of the party to visit an injured worker who was ignored by the state. Salma is subjected to harassment from one of the workers.

The police intercept Amal and the party leader and take the CD from him. Emad takes over the task of monitoring Amal. The preparations for Qamar’s wedding begin. Her mother is sad because Nour Al-Din wants to leave her; Qamar reproaches him.

Noura faints and her neighbor tries to save her. On Qamar's wedding day, the groom runs away; Nour Al-Din gives him money and promises him a boat in return for marrying Qamar.

When Gaber goes to Tawfiq to propose to his daughter, he refuses. Sabry quarrels with his mother after finding out that she's seeing Al-Habib, but she denies it. Noura tells her story to Amal and her friend.

Nour Al-Din gets closer to the seamstress. Noura's health deteriorates, and her daughter asks Amal to help her. Emad tells the officer all the information he takes from Amal. Yehia and Karim go to the nightclub and they meet foreign women.

Amal discovers that Emad is working with Si Al-Araby. Nour Al-Din asks Salma to go with him to propose to the seamstress but she refuses because she is afraid of Khadija.

Nadia goes to visit Noura at the hospital, and she reassures her about her health. Nour Al-Din meets Habib who tells him about his relationship with the girl and how he bought a new car and had a new look.

Catherine is sad after she discovers Yehia's relationship with a French girl. Emad tries to justify to Amal his relationship with Al-Araby, but she does not believe him. Al-Araby wants to go to Noura.

Emad wants to travel to his region, but Al-Araby refuses. Catherine decides to travel with her mother to France. Rafiqah escapes from the house; the grandmother goes to tell Nour Al-Din and finds out that he has married Naziha.

Rafiqah sends a letter to her father and informs him that she has married her French friend. Salma refuses to marry Nasser for the sake of her son Sabry. Emad goes with Amal to her home and finds Noura; he warns her not to tell anyone that she knows him. Sabry decides to travel to Italy.

Emad goes to Noura's house and wants to get close to her, but she refuses it. The police try to search for the boat that sailed to Italy. Salma finds her son Sabry among the men that the police found.

After Nour Al-Din writes the house in Naziha's name, she asks for a divorce. When Noura tells Emad that she has AIDS, he hits and expels her. Yehia is depressed after his girlfriend traveled. Habiba goes crazy because of her son, and Habib tries to help her.

Al-Habib saves Salma when someone tries to harass her. Emad tells Al-Araby that Noura has AIDS. Noura goes to the AIDS Patients Aid Association. Yehia gets more sick, and he suspects that he has AIDS. He goes to the hospital with Amin and his father.

The party leader is framed for a case of attempted rape. Naziha's friend takes gold and money from her and threatens to expose her to Nour Al-Din. The doctor tells Habib that his son has AIDS.

The police interrogate Naziha because the captain tried to sail the boat of Nour Al-Din to Italy. Habiba's brother takes her to his house and detains her, but his wife frees her.

Yehia is hospitalized. Nour Al-Din is detained by the police. Naziha steals the jewelry and escapes. Amal and the party leader go to report Al-Mu'tamad inaugurating a project that the people in the area reject. Emad becomes the chief of the police station where he works.

Amal is arrested and Emad tortures her to take confessions from her. Qamar works in the sea in place of her father. Lotfy steals his wife's passport. Amal gets out of prison.

Noura throws her daughter's birthday party and invites Yehia; Kamal comes and threatens her. The party leader defends Nour Al-Din since he's a lawyer. When Khadija goes to visit her husband, she finds Naziha and leaves because she feels jealous.

Noura meets Al-Araby after Kamal tells her that he wants to meet her. Kamal kills his friend. Noura goes with Amal to her home just as the girls look after Salma. Yehia dies and the whole region grieves. Salma drowns herself in the sea as she wears a wedding dress.
