Salma resigns from work in preparation for her travel to study abroad, and Umm Alia (Alia's mother) objects to Alia's traveling, and suggests to Abu Alia (Alia's father) that their daughter be married first and then travel with her husband to study, and also Raghad and Sarah prepare to travel.
The four girls bid farewell to their families to travel to complete their studies abroad. Sarah's brother travels with her and becomes attracted to Raghad. Meanwhile, Abu Alia faces an embarrassing situation at the airport.
The four girls search for apartments to live in, Sarah meets Salma at university, and Alia is forced to wear the niqab on her first visit to the university.
Sarah advises Alia to take off the niqab and be free because she is in America. Sarah, Salma, and Alia get to know their neighbor Raghad, who lives in the same building.

Umm Alia arrives in America and meets Jason, who tries to get to know her. Salma learns that her uncle will not divorce his wife, Abrar.
Alia tells Salma of Jason's love for her and his learning of the Arabic language to get closer to her, but she is surprised when he leaves the building.
Sarah suspects that Muhammad is taking drugs. Alia meets Jason, tells him of her engagement, and asks him to stay away from her.
Alia receives a letter from Jason in which he informs her of his mother's illness, which prevented him from meeting her, and he apologizes to her. The friends celebrate Raghad's birthday, and she assures them that Muhammad is like a brother to her.

Muhammad resents his brother Khaled’s closeness to Raghad. Khaled offers Sarah to get engaged to Rashid. As Umm Raghad visits her daughter in America, she objects to her relationship with her friends due to the social and financial differences between them.
Khaled tries to convince his parents to force Sarah to marry his friend. Adel likes Salma and tells her about his bad relationship with his wife. Umm Alia discovers that Fayez is in a rehab center.
Umm Abdullah scolds her daughter Raghad for telling her friends about her addict brother's condition. Alia suspects that her father married someone other than her mother.
As Sarah informs Abu Alia of Fayez's drug addiction, she asks her brother to make Raghad jealous. Abu Alia is revealed to be married to Hala. Raghad continues filming her movie.
Umm Alia scolds her daughter when she sees her with Jason. Raghad tells Muhammad that her mother dislikes their frequent meetings and that she wants her to stay away from him.
Salma tells Sarah of her decision to marry Abu Reem. Umm Alia accompanies her daughter everywhere after seeing her with Jason.
Umm Alia discovers that Abu Alia is married to another woman. Umm Raghad tries to convince her daughter to meet Fahd and give him a chance to get closer to her. Sarah agrees to give Wael a chance to get to know her.
Umm Sarah is shocked to discover her son Muhammad's relationship with Raghad. Sarah's relationship with her university classmate Wael strengthens.
Hisham asks Salma to marry him; Alia confronts her father about his marriage for the second time; Farah tells Raghad that Fahd hasn't cheated on her.
As Abu Alia rejects Jason's proposal to marry her, Alia collapses and is taken to the hospital. Umm Raghad asks for Sarah's hand in marriage for her son Fayez.

Hisham and Salma get engaged, as do Muhammad and Raghad. Abu Alia agrees to his daughter’s marriage to Jason. The four friends graduate from their first stage of study.
