General Dwight D. Eisenhower gets appointed as commander of the Allied Forces, which is going to liberate France from the Nazi occupiers during World War II. The forces invaded France from the coast of Normandy in the largest invasion in history, with the help of the French resistance from within, led by General de Gaulle. Afterward, he becomes appointed as commander of the forces that liberated Germany from the Nazis.
