An inebriated Kristen (Tina) meets Sami at a wedding, and they spend the night together while in an alcoholic haze. When her father storms the apartment and threatens to kill them, she lies to him and tells him that he is her husband.

Tina tells Tanios that she and Sami have a civil marriage, so he asks them to see the marriage contract and forces them to have a church marriage, after which they exchange accusations and then agree to keep their marriage until it is annulled.

Dana and her mother destroy Sami's apartment and office in revenge. Fouad fakes a civil marriage contract for Kristen and Sami in order to show it to Tanios. Sami returns to meet Tina and recalls the night they spent together.

Sami asks Tina to testify before the police against her father to end their marriage, but she refuses out of fear of her family. When she meets Sami and the lawyer Edgar, her father suddenly comes.

Sami and Tanios get into a fight because the latter refuses to let Sami stay in Tina's apartment and orders her to move to Sami's. Edgar warns Sami that the marriage may be planned by Tina and her family.

Dana insults Tina in Sami's office. Sami and Tina agree to get a divorce, and she fakes his signature on the civil marriage contract. Sami remembers his childhood sweetheart.

Sami discovers that his brother Karim's rival at work is Tina. Sami, Dana, Tina, and Fouad cross paths with each other. Sami sets a date to go to the village and hand the fake marriage contract over to Tina's father.

Dana involves Sami's parents in the matter. While traveling, Sami discovers more about Tina's family and her father's prejudice against females in favor of males. As Sami fears for his life and Tina, he tells her father that he has agreed that they live together."

Nabil meets Dana's friend at a casino. After Sami and Tina return from the village, Sami orders Edgar to halt the divorce procedures, after which he welcomes his sister Yasmine back home.

Tina moves to Sami's apartment and meets Yasmine, who is distressed by her father's harsh treatment of her, and Tina sympathizes with her. As Dana arrives at Sami's apartment, she spoils Tina and Sami's belongings.

Tina meets Sami's family, who are surprised when she talks about the violence of her family and the people of the village and their abuse of women. Sami retrieves his apartment key from Dana and asks her to apologize to Tina, but she refuses.

Tina's mother asks to meet Sami. When Nabil finds out about Tina and Sami's marriage, he accuses her of cheating on him and insults her. Sami hides from Tina that Nabil is a philandering deceiver.

Tina confesses the truth to Nabil, so he tells her lies about Sami, warns her of him, and promises to marry her after she divorces him. Dana deliberately ignores Tina during her visit to Sami's apartment. Sami and Tina deliberately quarrel in front of her family.

Emile reveals to Tina his refusal to ruin Sami's life. Dana goes back to insulting Tina and accuses her of trying to seduce Sami. Tina gets sad when she watches Sami hugging Cynthia, who's sad about her inability to have children.

Sami and Tina develop deeper feelings for one another. As Tina becomes aware of Sami's nobility, compassion, and caring for others, she begins to avoid him.

Nabil discovers that Dana and Sami are engaged. Dana makes trouble for Sami after inviting Tina to dinner and then overburdens him with her financial requirements. Tina concludes Yasmine's plan so that Emile does not force her to travel.

Tina and Sami quarrel because of his fear of Nabil and her wish to be financially independent. Tanios asks Tina to return her grandfather's house to him so that he can distribute the fortune to her male siblings, but she refuses.

Tina discovers that Nabil is cheating on her when she sees a girl in his apartment. Emile reveals his affection for Yasmine after she feigns illness. Nabil contacts Dana to drive a wedge between Tina and Sami.

Tina hides from Sami that Dana's mother smashed her computer. Tina flirts with Sami because of Dana's attempts to bother her. Sami forces Tina to accompany him in order to make her fall for him. Nabil confesses to Dana that he likes her.

Tina's mother tells Sami the story of her marriage to Tanios and that she left Tina with her parents out of fear of Tanios, whom Sami offers to buy Tina's grandfather's house and settle the dispute. Emile forgives Yasmine and Tina for lying and makes sure of the latter's love for Sami.

Nabil continues to deceive Dana. Sami beats Gibran after the latter hit Tina in his house, after which Sami meets with her family and warns them. Tina goes to rescue him from her family and gives her father a power of attorney over the house without Sami's knowledge, and the latter admonishes her.

Tina and Sami are getting a divorce in a month, and the latter becomes sadder, recalls his memories with the girl he loved, and refuses to have a relationship with Dana, who avoids confessing her love to him.

Despite knowing that Nicole is carrying his baby, Nabil proposes to Dana. Sami scolds Dana's mother for smashing Tina's computer, notices the closeness between his family and Tina, who attempts to evade him. Tina discovers Nabil's relationship with Dana, who lies to Sami about what happened.

Tina discovers that Sami found out about her secret meeting with Karim but is unaware of the practical assistance she provides for him. Tanios surprises Tina by returning the house to her. Sami discovers the truth about Nabil's revenge plan.

Tanios is transferred to the hospital after learning that his children sold his land. Sami intervenes to help Tina, whose sisters avoid standing by their father. It turns out that there is a previous acquaintance between Emile and Tina's mother.

Sami hosts Naoum's family at his home out of fear of confronting Tanios, whose wife is expecting a baby girl. Amal confronts Emile, telling him that she married Tanios after his departure from the village, and the latter's condition becomes stable.

Sami provokes Tina into expressing her feelings for him. Tina is surprised by Zeina, Eddie's sister, kissing Sami. Dana discovers Nicole's pregnancy and confronts Nabil. After Tina supports her father, he regrets preferring his sons to her.

Emile tells Tanios the truth about Tina and Sami's marriage after Tanios abandoned his conservatism; moreover, they discover the couple's love for each other. Tanios orders Sami to sign over the house to him to protect Tina from her sisters. Sami discovers that Tina partnered up with Karim.

Sami reveals to Tina the reason for his enmity with Nabil and tells her about his old girlfriend, Marwa. Sami mistakenly thinks that Tina has returned to Nabil and begins to ruffle her feathers.

Dana reveals to Sami her pregnancy after he confronts her with her relationship with Nabil. Tina signs the divorce papers, and it's revealed that Tina and Nabil have ended their relationship. Sami discovers that Tina is the child Kris whom he loved in his childhood.

Sami tells Dana that he will marry her only until she gives birth. Tina returns to the village and discovers the reasons why she lived with her grandfather; moreover, she buys her father's land back, unaware of Sami's help, after which she collapses when she learns the date of Sami's wedding.

Tina confesses her love to Sami, so Dana tells her about her pregnancy. Tina accepts a job opportunity abroad. After Sami discovers that Dana lied about her pregnancy, he follows Tina before she travels, tells her that he has not signed the divorce papers yet, and informs her of his love for her.
