Max's life gets messy when his owner adopts a stray named Duke. But they both have to set aside their differences when they end up in the company of a bunny called Snowball who has plans to exact revenge on humans who own pets.
Continuing the story of Max and his pet friends, Max goes on a trip to the countryside with his owner Katie,who got married and has a son called Liam. He learns to face his fears with the help of a dog named Rooster,while back home Gidget and Snowball are facing problems of their own.
