The series is considered a sequel to the story of the movie, Mouths and Rabbits, where the problems between Neamat and Mahmoud Bey increase due to his sister’s interference in their lives and her attempt to destroy their marriage. In fact, Mahmoud's sister succeeds in her plan, as their story ends in divorce. However, they soon return in the end after Mahmoud survives a murder accident.
