Ziad, the son of businessman Gaber Al-Komi, is arrested for drug possession. Gaber hires Karma, a brilliant lawyer, to defend his son. When she manages to prove his innocence, Gaber rewards her with a villa.
Karma finds a message threatening her and accusing her of giving up her consciousness to win the case. She also finds a picture of Da Vinci and she sees him in front of her. She thinks that the hallucinations are back.
Karma goes to the psychiatrist who tells her that she was in a manic depressive state. She sees Da Vinci again, this time posing as a chef.
Karma thinks that the villa is haunted, she goes to a charlatan who tells her that she's possessed by the Jinn and he burns Da Vinci.
Da Vinci goes to the prison and the Major General orders him to finish the painting. Sheikh Mujahid reproaches Karma and tells her that Da Vinci is but a good soul that is tormented and oppressed, and she has to bring its salvation.
The now-imprisoned Major General Farid tells Da Vinci that he was a member of a terrorist group that tried to escape but was arrested, and during their deportation, the car exploded and everyone died but except for him. Karma urges Dalia to search for any reports about the Da Vinci incident.
Dr. Sherif tries to get close to Karma. Karma attends Gaber's son's party where he gives her a painting by Da Vinci.
Sherif tells Karma that Da Vinci is real and that Gaber and his lawyer Atef know Da Vinci's secret. Atef wants Farid to make Da Vinci falsifies official papers, claiming that Karma is a spy for a Masonic organization.
Karma goes to Safwat Amer at the Ministry of Interior, while Dalia lures one of the defendants in a case inside the ministry.
Da Vinci finds out that Farid sold his painting to Adnan al-Samari and he gets furious and tries to reach Farid.
When Karma returns home, she finds out that someone broke into her villa and rummaged through her files; she reports the incident to the police. Farid recounts to Da Vinci his painful history and says he is the terrorist Raouf.
Da Vinci has an attack and he has difficulty breathing as a result of torture and he sees Karma at the hospital. Major General Mokhtar gets upset when a human rights report condemns the violations inside the prisons.
Farid asks Da Vinci to help him make a sketch of a criminal who attacked his daughter's friend.
Da Vinci and Karma meet for the first time in Farid's office.
Dalia sees the picture painted by Da Vinci and she says that it's Hassan Abu Shama, who was the head of the Investigation Department of a newspaper, and he was arrested for writing a story incriminating a corrupt businessman and died while being deported to prison.
Da Vinci confesses to Karma that he's the one who drew the painting and that he loves her.
Da Vinci wakes up in the morgue after Farid gives orders to have him murdered. It turns out that the doctor has another scheme for Da Vinci as he intends to sell him to the organ trade mafia, but Da Vinci manages to escape.
Da Vinci is stopped by thugs who take him to Ezbet El Ward (The Flowers Estate).
Officer Ayman decides to plant Da Vinci in the neighborhood to catch Harun Al'aeraj's gang. Dr. Sarah discovers that there is organ trade in the hospital where she works, and Sherif calms her down.
Da Vinci beats Harun's men and becomes in control of the neighborhood.
Karma quits working for Gaber who gets arrested for bribery.
Karma agrees to defend Gaber for 5 million pounds. A group of Harun's thugs tries to kill Da Vinci, but a young man saves him.
Karma manages to get Gaber acquitted. Harun's wife tells Da Vinci that his real name is Sayyid Abu al-Rous.
Karma steals important documents from Gaber's office after pretending to faint. Karma humiliates Sherif and fires him from his job.
Karma finds many files that prove Gaber's corruption, and she tells Safwat about it. Da Vinci wakes up to find himself in a large villa with Farid Teima next to him.
Farid discovers that Karma is in touch with Safwat and that she's betraying Gaber and he plans to get rid of her through the forged papers that Da Vinci made earlier.
Karma disappears and Yusuf and Dalia look for her.
Karma is arrested. Da Vinci appears in court and says that the papers are forged.
Farid is arrested for murdering Sherif and he becomes paralyzed. General Safwat reveals that Da Vinci is journalist Hassan Abu Shama.
At a press conference, Da Vinci recounts his life story as he was a street child called Hassan Abu Al-Rous, and he became a master of forgery, but the corrupt businessman Al-Faramawi turned him into an activist-journalist. Da Vinci tries to commit suicide, but Karma saves him.
