A nuclear bomb is dropped on London after WWI and turns it into a wasteland. Only one family with a 7-months pregnant lady survives the effects of the nuclear fallout, as they were living underground in a subway car. However, the family is forced to go up to the surface of the earth to search for a doctor, unaware of what is waiting for them.
