The events depict the political conflicts between the Baathists and the communists from 1963 to 1968. The neighborhoods of Mahallet al-Sheikh and Al-Wazireya serve as the backdrop, following four families with different social, political, and economic backgrounds.
In the second season, the southern woman Najat wages a fierce struggle against the ruling authority of the time, while Shahin becomes more ruthless. As tensions rise, family relations grow increasingly complex, and the political conflict intensifies.
