Mahrous and his brothers help their father cultivate the land, and Mahrous is forced to travel to the city to meet the needs of his family and neighbors.
Fawzia asks her husband Mahrous for independence in a separate house away from his family and rebels against her life with him. At the same time, Abu Saad decides to write his house in the name of his three daughters.
Mahrous quarrels with Fawzia, so she leaves the house. Ayed advises Abu Mahrous to let his children complete their studies and leave agriculture. Mansour seeks to persuade his brothers to travel to the city, while Ayed sets up a tailor workshop in the village.
Mansour tells Mahrous to travel to the city and work there. Hind and Fawzia work in the workshop of Ayed and his wife Noura, and Mahrous divorces Fawzia for her constant rebellion and dissatisfaction with her life with him.
Mansour leaves for the city without his parents' knowledge, and hostility arises between Hind and Fawzia because of their work in the workshop.
In the city, Mansour meets Talal and helps him get a job. Abu Mahrous remains concerned about his son’s travel, and his brother Muhammad joins him.
Muhammad works in Suleiman’s shop, and Umm Mahrous is afraid that her third son, Youssef, will travel behind his two brothers to the city.
Suleiman offers Muhammad his share in the shop. Youssef tells Mansour that he wants to travel with him to the city like Muhammad. Abu Mahrous falls ill, and Hassan plans to bring down Muhammad so that he does not win Suleiman’s trust and marry his daughter.
Hassan places expired food products in Suleiman's store without Muhammad's knowledge and informs the police, and Youssef stays with his brother Mansour until he joins the military.
Mansour and Suleiman seek to prove Muhammad's innocence, while Hassan agrees on another shipment of spoiled food. Youssef joins the military, and Ayed suffers a car accident.
Suleiman asks Muhammad to return to work, and he opens a large store. Mansour gets a promotion at his work, and Mahrous marries Hind.
Muhammad proposes marriage to Suleiman's daughter after achieving great profits in his work. Mansour is able to develop the business and succeed in it. Mahrous's wife gives birth, and the four children return to their father and ask him to accompany them to their new home.
