Ghanima weds her cousin Mosa'ed against her will. After he and her aunt die, she weds Sultan. As the years pass, Salem asks his grandmother to ask for the hand of Ghanima's daughter. Awatef recalls her father's marriage to Ghanima who is upset that her brother seized her inheritance.

After Sultan asks Salem to work with him, Salem asks for Aisha's hand in marriage. Salem is shocked when his sister's ex-husband arrives to demand to take his son. Sultan invites Salem's sister and her son to stay with him while Salem travels for work. Awatef is upset with her father's distance.

Sultan asks Salem to wed Awatef instead of Aisha. Azzam discovers that his son has cancer. When Sultan runs over someone on his way back from his travels, he takes the injured guy home and Ghanima refuses to report the accident to the police.

Salem and his mother try to convince his sister, Masha'el, to go back to Azzam after they learn about her son's illness. Gharib, the guy that Sultan ran over, wakes up without his memories. But as he starts to regain his memory, he vanishes from the house.

Gharib goes back home. Masha'el reconciles with her husband after their son dies, but she is shocked when he returns to his old way of drinking and sleeping around. Aisha is upset that Salem got engaged to Awatef.

Gharib reveals to Aisha that he regained his memories and that his name is Bilal. As Bilal rapes Aisha to take revenge on her father, Sultan decides to wed them to avoid the scandal. Sultan dies, and Bilal tells Ghanima that he wants the house to divorce Aisha. Bilal dies in a car accident.
