Singer Mohamed Mounir goes to the studio to record a new song, but he tells his friends he doesn't feel comfortable because the lyrics are very poor. He eventually leaves the studio.

Mohamed Mounir goes to the hotel for the press conference, and journalist Omar who is a huge fan of Mounir rejoices that he will get the chance to meet his idol. Meanwhile, another fan, Nabil, impersonates Mounir to lure girls but they eventually uncover his deceit.

Mounir travels to Nubia in a journey to revisit the past. He recalls his childhood with his grandmother and his schooldays and how he used to sing at school, sometimes in class and sometimes at the schoolyard. Ola is shocked when she doesn't find Mounir at home.

The police suspect it's journalist Omar behind Mounir's disappearance. Mounir travels to Aswan with his family and friends and he reminisces over the past. Ahmed Nabil impersonates Mounir as he visits the producer Emad Asfour. Mounir absolves Omar.

Nehal visits Tarek and urges him to stay away from Mounir. Journalist Omar meets Jihan at a cafe and when she casually mentions that she is to cover the Luxor African Film Festival which Mounir will attend, he offers to go in her stead to meet him. Mounir recalls the displacement of the Nubians.

Tarek Barakat locks Nehal Shoukry up. Omar travels to Aswan to meet Mounir, and despite his initial shock, Mounir takes him on a journey to ancient monuments and tells him he found love in one of these places. Emad Asfour travels to Aswan to encourage Mounir to record the album.

Mayar tries to woo Mounir who rejects her. At the filming location, an anonymous person attacks the director of photography. Nehal goes to her ex-husband's house and talks with his wife. Mounir recalls the day of president Gamal Abdel Nasser's resignation and how the whole country grieved over it.

Mounir decides to take the train to Cairo with Omar, and he revisits the past as he recalls his school crush. Ahmed Nabil's mother tells him his uncle got him a job, but Ahmed is so immersed in his world of fantasies and he goes to Emad Asfour's house as the latter throws him out.

Tarek goes to the hospital to check up on Nehal. Malek quarrels with Mira and she decides to leave the villa. Jihan tells her boyfriend Omar that she misses him. Omar's friends are surprised to see Mounir at Omar's house. Hanan, Tarek's wife, visits Nehal at the hospital.

Ahmed quarrels with his friends after a singing session and leaves them. Ola and Emad Asfour learn where Mounir is and go to check up on him. Mounir visits Nehal Shoukry at the hospital and tells her to get well soon and comforts her.

Mounir bids Omar and his friends farewell and travels to Germany. Omar joins the television crew of presenter Ehab's show. Ahmed participates in a singing competition.

Mounir turns down an offer from a production company. Omar meets Jihan and her family. Mounir goes to his friend Abdel Hamid and they resume their work together. Emad Asfour asks the director to do his best to present a superb clip since Mounir turned down all the other offers and accepted theirs.

Mounir leaves Abdel Hamid's house. Nehal travels to Germany for treatment. Omar is overjoyed that Jihan will have her own show. Mounir and Nehal run into one another in Germany.

Bahaa' tells Jihan that the channel's owner approved her show. Omar surprises Jihan of a gift in celebration of the good news and tells her he loves her. Nehal's health improves after she meets Mounir, and she tells a friend of hers that she has always loved Mounir.

Jihan's mother is mad at her for acting against her principals and presenting fake news. Ahmed Nabil travels to his hometown and urges his mother to sell her jewelry. Mounir returns and resumes his projects with Emad Asfour.

Jihan asks Omar to accompany her to the party. Majed, Tarek's assistant, quits his job after Tarek convinces Majed's girlfriend to work for a businessman abroad. Jihan hosts Ahmed Nabil in her show. Mounir rejects Emad Asfour's idea for the clip and says it's out of character.

Jihan quarrels with Omar and blames him for his lack of enthusiasm towards her show and her success. Majed quits his job. Malek, Emad Asfour's son, tries to approach Rana, Ola's sister.

Mounir meets his friend Fahmy to prepare for his new album. Jihan quarrels with Bahaa and leaves the newspaper. Tarek vows revenge on Majed who has opened up his own company. Omar and Bahaa have an altercation and publicly insult one another.

Omar is arrested on charges of spreading lies and inciting public opinion. Ahmed Nabil quarrels with his friends and they cut him off. Mounir tries to get Omar out of prison and talks wisdom into his ears. Tarek blames Nehal for meeting Mounir. Mounir blames Bahaa for having Omar imprisoned.

Tarek gives orders for Taimour to shoot Mounir, but the latter's driver receives the shot instead. Ahmed Nabil is accused of trying to murder Mounir. Mounir's fans visit him to check up on him after the incident. Jihan suggests to Bahaa' modifying the show, which he rejects utterly.

Nehal visits Mounir and apologizes on behalf of Tarek. Jihan visits Omar and tells him she now realizes what he said about her show lacking authenticity and purpose was true. Hasnaa', Nehal's friend, begs for her forgiveness, but Nehal cannot forgive her after her betrayal.

Taimour and his men beat Mr. Imam who works for Majed and they wreak havoc in the company and destroy it. Mounir and Bahaa' discuss the Tunisian Revolution and how it resonates and echoes the Egyptian streets. Majed accepts to return to work with Tarek. Tarek plots against Rehab.

Jihan and Omar meet up and he asks her to leave the show if she wants them to be together. Tarek refuses to meet Rehab. Nehal contacts Bahaa' and tells him she wants to be hosted in his show to expose her dispute with Tarek.

Ahmed Nabil's girlfriend visits him at the psychiatric clinic. Bahaa' hosts Nehal Shoukry and records the interview to be shown to Tarek prior to its airing; Tarek refuses to air the show. Jihan proposes a new show that presents different viewpoints. Tarek refuses to cooperate with Rehab.

Tarek quarrels with his daughter who tells him she despises him for his foul deeds. When Ola tells Mounir she loves him, he tells her she's delusional. Jihan's boss wants to marry her, but she tells him she has feelings for someone else.

Nousa, Ahmed Nabil's girlfriend, plans to sneak him out of the psychiatric clinic. Tarek congratulates his ex-wife on her new film. Later on, Tarek is found dead in his swimming pool, and Nehal is the prime suspect as the police interrogate her.

Nehal recounts what happened on the night she visited Tarek. He claimed he will be waiting for her with the lawyer to divorce her, but when she went, he lured and assaulted her. The police resume their investigations and Mohamed Mounir is also a suspect.

Mounir apologizes for not singing at Emad Asfour's and tells Omar he will end his singing career at this, and everyone tries to dissuade Mounir from his decision. Mounir visits Nehal at the police department to check up on her.

Mounir calls Nehal's brother and invites him to his house. Nehal's brother confesses to what happened on the night of Tarek's death. He then turns himself in and Nehal is released.

Mounir resumes singing. Omar goes to he studio and sees Jihan publicly apologizing to her audience and resigns. Omar proposes to her and in a festive atmosphere, Mounir chants his well-loved songs, and Nehal supports him and asks him to watch her newest film.
