It's 1950, Ali is on a train heading to Aswan and he's thinking about his sister Doha who disappeared a few months ago. Amin wants to tell Ward that he loves her, but she rejects him. Ward had a one night stand with Mourad who is to get engaged to Nazli.

To investigate his sister's disappearance, Ali goes to the hotel and pretends to be a new employee named Fouad. In the engagement ceremony, Qesmat announces Mourad the hotel manager; Lady Enayat is upset. Amin tells Ali about the rumors that spread about Mourad and Doha.

Ali learns the profession's basics from Amin. Ward informs Mourad that she is pregnant with his baby, but he denies and reproaches her. Amin overhears the conversation and tries to offer help. Ali finds Doha's journals and learns about her relationship with Mourad.

Ali tells Nazli about what he has read in the journals, and he reveals to her that Doha was fired because she sold the hotel's liquor to a warehouse. Mourad receives a package with Doha's uniform stained with blood.

Ali follows Mourad to the crematorium and he manages to get the package before it is burned. Amin is indirectly investigating Ali about Doha. Amin keeps an eye on Maher, and Ali on Mourad.

Sakina overburdens Ward with chores, and Ward asks Amin to intervene to solve this. Major Sherif arrives in to inform Mourad and Qesmat that Maher is murdered, and he asks them to interrogate the employees. Ali breaks in Maher’s house and finds a picture of Maher and Doha together.

Sherif makes an agreement with Ali, and Ali agrees to be his eye inside the hotel. Nazli is fantasizing about her future with Ali, but Ali is busy investigating his sister's murder now that he has a piece of evidence convicting Mourad.

Sherif returns to the hotel and tells Qesmat and Mourad that a report about Doha's disappearance has been made. Ali and Amin go to Demian's warehouse and get drunk. On his way back to the hotel, Ali sees Doha.

Doha tells Ali everything; that she was chased, stabbed, and thrown into the water but Maher found and treated her. She told him about her relationship with Mourad and also about a letter containing information threatening the hotel’s property.

Ali and Nazli stroll together and they get closer, which stands in the way of her marriage to Mourad. Mourad insists that they set a date for their wedding. On Mourad’s birthday, Doha attends in disguise; she threatens Mourad and asks Ali to meet her urgently.

A fire broke out in the hotel, and after they extinguish it they find Doha dead on the floor. Ali breaks down and decides to contact Major Sherif. Given the new incidents, Sherif decides to re-investigate the case, but he receives new orders to stop the investigations and seal the case.

Ali decides to leave , Nazli goes after him after and she leaves a message to Mourad. Minutes before the train leaves, Amin arrives and tells Ali that the investigation is going to resume. Ehsan confesses that he murdered Doha.

Ehsan is trying to cover up for Amal who actually killed Doha. Ali tells Nazli that she's the only reason he hasn't left the hotel yet. Mourad puts poison in Ward's cup of tea.

Qesmat takes Ward to the hospital. Ali is mad at Sherif, but Sherif tells him that he should direct his anger to Doha who actually burned the hotel, and he makes Ali sign on a restraining order promising to stay away from Ehsan.

Ali overhears Ward and Mourad as Ward is saying that she will never allow Mourad to hurt her again. Mourad and Nazli travel to Europe for their honeymoon.

Nazli and Mourad arrive at the hotel, and Mourad is surprised by Qesat's decision to appoint Ehsan as a manager. Nazli asks Mourad to go down to check on Amin's health where he finds him alone in the room.

In Ward's room, Ali finds a letter and Ward snatches it from his hand. He inquires about the content of the letter. Ward communicates to Qesmat that she might change her mind regarding their agreement, and Qesmat threatens her.

The letter contains a handwritten document stating that Amin is Adham Hefzy's legitimate son and the hotel shall be his. Mourad manages to get the letter and tears it into pieces, but Ali enters the room at the right time to collect the pieces.

Ward asks Amin to claim that her baby passed away because she is afraid that after the breastfeeding period her baby will be taken away from her. Ali manages to piece the letter together and gives it to Nazli who confirms that the handwriting is her father's and Amin is indeed her brother.

It is learned that Ali murdered a wealthy woman in Mansoura, and it turns out that he and Elham plotted this. Nazli believes that Ali is indeed in a relationship with Elham, but he tells her to wait and he will reveal everything in due time.

Ali agrees with Elham to steal the necklace for her and Nazli sees him; he promises to explain everything later. At the train station, he meets Elham and entices her to confess her wrongdoings. Meanwhile, Sherif has been overhearing them and he arrests Elham.

Nazli tells Amal that Amin is her brother, and she asks Sekina to widely declare this. Sekina sees Seddik and tells him her whole story, and Seddik tells Ali that he has feelings for Sekina. Ward's son dies after sudden and severe fatigue.

Amin learns that Ward has deceived him into believing that Selim died. Amid their argument, she tells him that he is Adham Hefzy's son. As for Nazli, she moves to Amal's room and abandons Mourad.

Sekina and Amin leave the servants' rooms and relocate to the guests' rooms. That night they also dine at the hotel's lobby. Ali reveals to Sekina all about his past, and Sekina reports that to Nazli.

Nazli meets Mourad and confronts him with all his wrongdoings before she asks for a divorce. Sekina disapproves of Amin's decision to take Ward back. Ward, however, goes to Cairo to get new clothes befitting her new title as Amin Bey's wife.

As the hotel is to be split, Qesmat and Nazli choose Mourad to manage their share whereas Sekina and Amin choose Ali. Ali reveals that he is Doha's brother, which incites Mourad to plot with Ward against this looming danger.

Mourad is trying to fix things with Nazli, but she insists on breaking up after she learned all about his forgery and deceit. Mourad and Qesmat plan on murdering Adham Hefzy.

Ali asks Qesmat to file a report to re-autopsy Adham’s body to find out the reason behind his death. Amin informs Ali of his intention to leave a quarter of his share to his son; Ali tells him that the baby is not his; he is Mourad’s.

Sherif begins his investigation at the hotel with those who were present on the night of Adham’s death. Ward testifies against Amin and claims he is a probably suspect because every night he used to take a cup of Tilia to Adham’s room. Mourad plots to have Ward murdered.

Sekina begs Qesmat to drop the report against Amin, but Sekina refuses. Fatma returns to the hotel and reveals in detail what happened on that unfavorable night: it was Mourad who put the poison in Adham’s cup. Mourad is arrested and Nazli and Ali get married.
