As the evil man Shehab mistreats his wife and his son Osman, he prevents them from attending his daughter's funeral. Ghayth returns to look for his wife Khadija, whom he married in secret, to retrieve his son, who is being cared for by Samira along with her brother, the mailman Mostafa.

As Ghayth meets with Samira, he tells her that he wants to meet Abu Khadija (Khadija's father) to take his wife and son. Shehab asks Mostafa to drive a wedge between Maryamia and his son, Osman.

Abu Khadija locks up his daughter to prevent her from seeing her son or husband. Shehab bargains with Ghayth, offering to help him resolve the issue if Ghayth gives him his father's store. When Umm Rabab (Rabab's mother) passes away, Shehab refuses to attend the funeral. Maryamia returns home bruised.

As Osman takes care of the funeral of Umm Rabab, her daughter is shocked when Shehab threatens to seize the house unless she repays her mother's debts. Hoor comes looking for her grandfather, Shehab.

As Abu Khadija quarrels with Samira over his grandson, Samira makes fun of Sinaa when the latter shares that she underwent surgery to regain her sight. Umm Nariman (Nariman's mother) is shocked when shots are fired at her house, prompting her to call the police.

Shehab asks Umm Nariman to get rid of Maryamia in exchange for leaving her and her daughter alone. As Ghayth tells Samira that he will accept nothing less than taking Khadija and his son with him, he manages to kidnap his son from the hospital.

Abu Khadija learns that his daughter ran away with her son and Ghayth. Shehab offers to wed Rabab to Osman in exchange for leaving her the house. When the wife of Abu Sinaa (Sinaa's father) gives birth, he thinks that the newborn baby is blind like his eldest sister.

Ghayth and Khadija move in with the former's mother. The police arrest Mostafa after a gun is found in his car. Osman asks Maryamia to quit her job as a bellydancer and marry him.

Maryamia refuses to marry Osman. Abu Khadija plots with Samira to kidnap Khadija's son and frame Ghayth for it. As Abu Sinaa's wife flees with her blind baby, she ends up killing herself.

Khadija grows worried when Ghayth vanishes. Osman informs Samira that he is looking for the daughters of his late sister. Abu Shehab (Shehab's father) hits Shehab over the head after the latter refuses to approve his marriage to Samira.

Maryamia leaves her house. Abu Khadija locks Shehab up and ties him with ropes. As Hoor finds her grandfather Shehab after Abu Khadija releases him, she ends up taking care of him.

Unknown assailants break into Umm Nariman's house. Mostafa admonishes Samira for kicking him out of the house. Shehab threatens to kill Maryamia.

When Sinaa learns that her father has quit his job, she refuses to have her eye surgery, but her father insists and donates his own eyes for her. Hoor meets her grandmother. Samira takes Khadija's son.

As Mostafa looks for the gun in Umm Nariman's house, he gets assaulted by a number of men. Abdullah forces Sinaa to join him in his robberies.

Ghayth informs Shehab that he wants his son back to go abroad with him. When Abu Sinaa is forced to steal a car, he discovers that there is a baby inside. Mostafa informs Samira about his agreement with Hoor's father to keep Hoor away from them.

Umm Nariman decides to leave the city and travel abroad, sharing with Osman that she wants to get married. The foster home gets custody of Ghayth and Khadija's son when the two prove unable to protect and care for him.

Umm Nariman enlists Abu Sinaa's help to get her daughter's family away from her. Abu Shehab visits Hoor's house and asks her to go back with him, but Hoor's father forbids her from going. Samira asks Hoor's father to marry her and threatens him with revenge.

Samira quarrels with Abu Khadija over his relationship with Maryamia. Hoor's father talks to his daughter about marrying Samira. Ghayth makes a deal with Wedad to bring him his son.

Nariman accuses her mother of arranging her assault to force her to travel with her. Samira asks Hoor to stay away from them and tells her about her relationship with Hoor's father. Mostafa tells Sinaa that her father is stealing to afford her surgery.

Osman tries to find out the truth about Abu Khadija's relationship with Maryamia. Wedad informs Ghayth that Khadija kidnapped her son from the foster home. As Rabab gets assaulted, Osman saves her.

Samira convinces Mostafa to marry Hoor, who tells her grandfather Shehab that she will move in with him. Osman advises Hoor not to believe Mostafa. Khadija asks her father to let her hide in the basement with her son to prevent Ghayth from taking him.

As Fadl quarrels with Osman, Hoor gets accidentally shot as Osman gets accused of killing her. Maryamia tries to hide Hoor's body.

The police investigate Osman and look for the body. Abu Khadija advises Maryamia to stay out of it. Mostafa suspects that Samira is the one who killed Hoor.

Maryamia buries Hoor in her house. Samira tells the police officer that she suspects that Maryamia and Abu Khadija have hidden the body.

Osman gets sentenced to death. As Ghayth and Khadija's son passes away, Ghayth and Khadija separate.

Samira kicks her sister and Mostafa out of the house. Wedad holds Shehab responsible for Hoor's death.

Abu Sinaa marries Umm Nariman. Shehab asks Rabab to move into his house. Ghayth notices that Wedad is keeping her distance from him after she drove a wedge between him and Khadija.

Samira admits to Shehab that she knows who killed Hoor. Mostafa forces Abdullah to admit to killing Hoor. Ghayth gets together with Sinaa.

As Osman gets released from prison, Rabab tells Maryamia that she has wed Osman. The police raid the warehouse where stolen cars are being sold. Sinaa loses her eyesight.

Osman prepares for his wedding. Ghayth proposes to Sinaa. As Samira tells Maryamia that she has lost everything, she ends up killing herself.
