As Sa'oud's pregnant wife, Amina, goes in for an ultrasound, his daughters head to college. Amina is afraid of having another daughter since Sa'oud wants a son.

During the ultrasound, Amina discovers that the baby is a girl, putting her in a tight spot in light of Sa'oud's wish for a boy. Sa'oud loses his temper when he learns that they are having another daughter.

Sa'oud's sister, Sou'ad, arrives for a visit despite her hatred of Amina. Sou'ad encourages Sa'oud to take another wife, an idea that he starts to entertain.

Sa'oud gets ready to take another wife behind Amina's back. As Amina and her daughters attend a wedding, the girls take notice of their father's absence. Sa'oud gets married while his family attends the wedding. Amina's delivery date looms closer.

Amina passes away after undergoing a dangerous surgery. Meanwhile, Sa'oud spends time with his new wife, leaving his daughters to name their new sister Sherifa, but their aunt disapproves of the name.

Sa'oud's eldest daughter reveals that Aunt Fawziya spent time in prison after accidentally killing her husband. Sa'oud's second wife, Jinan, asks him to announce their marriage and take her to live with him.

Jinan lies to Sa'oud and claims to be pregnant. Nadia is shocked when her sister Hoda goes to the police station after causing a car accident.

Eissa informs his mother of his wish to get married. Jinan agrees with her mother to tell Sa'oud that she had a miscarriage. When the school of her sister Wafaa summons her guardian, Nadia is forced to go in Sa'oud's stead as he refuses to go himself.

Noura's hand gets burned. Sa'oud's sister admonishes his daughters for having too many requests. Sa'oud is distressed by the news of Jinan's miscarriage.

With the girls unable to pay the electricity bill, they end up losing power. Nadia quarrels with Hoda over the latter's overt extravagance.

Noura goes to her aunt after failing her exams. Omar informs his mother that Sa'oud has another wife. Jinan tries to convince her husband to help Eissa.

Sa'oud quarrels with his daughter Nadia after she sells her mother's golden jewelry. Nadia discovers that Noura didn't buy any ointments for her burnt hand due to their lack of money.

Nadia is forced to sell the furniture to get money. Sa'oud and Jinan move in with Sou'ad. Sa'oud agrees to partner up with Eissa on a project. Mohamed injures his foot during practice.

Nadia learns about her father's marriage. As she tells her sisters, the girls confront their father, but he leaves them behind to fend for themselves.

Nadia is forced to work at a beauty salon to make ends meet. Eissa gets married and opens a cafe with Sa'oud.

As Jinan gives birth to a son, a thrilled Sa'oud celebrates. Omar bids Noura goodbye as he prepares to travel to complete his studies.

Nadia discovers that Mohamed is in love with Hoda. As Noura tries to ask her father for money, she is shocked to discover that Hoda has cancer.

Mohamed proposes to Hoda. The salon owner, Abdel Aziz, starts to get close to Nadia. Noura informs her father about Hoda's illness, but he doesn't care.

When Hoda informs Mohamed about her illness, he insists on standing by her as she undergoes treatment. Nadia learns about Hoda's illness.

Nadia quits her job at the salon and starts a new job at a lawyer's office. As the years pass, Hoda and Noura get married. Sherifa grows up, as does her half-brother Ali.

Noura complains about the change in Omar's attitude with her. Mohamed is upset that Hoda neglects their home and expresses his wish for a child. Nadia is shocked when Abdel Aziz asks to marry her.

Hoda informs Mohamed that she needs treatment to be able to have children. Sa'oud opposes his daughter's Wafaa's wish to be an actress. Omar asks Noura to emigrate with him.

Sherifa gets in trouble at school. Jinan discovers that her brother Eissa's business is going downhill. Noura is shocked to learn that Omar has prepared their immigration documents behind her back.

Sherifa reads Nadia's diaries and learns that she used to be in love with Mohamed. Ali eavedrops on his mother's conversation with Salem, in which she warns him about Sa'oud. Jinan informs her mother that she wants to leave Sa'oud.

Hoda leaves the house and insists on getting a divorce. Salem decides to rehire Eissa in order to deceive Sa'oud.

Salem convinces Jinan of his idea to have Eissa work for him. Mohamed asks Sa'oud to interfere to resolve his fight with Hoda. Nadia marries Abdel Aziz in secret. Sa'oud discovers that his daughter Wafaa went on a trip behind his back.

Sa'oud quarrels with Wafaa when she returns from her travel, getting caught on camera while beating her at the airport. Sherifa tells Hoda about Nadia's past love for Hoda's husband Mohamed.

Bassema grows suspicious of her husband Abdel Aziz. Nadia asks Abdel Aziz to help her resolve Wafaa's problem. Wafaa overhears a phone call between Salem and Jinan that reveals that Jinan is cheating on Sa'oud. Salem steals the gold from Eissa.

As Noura gives birth to her first child, Hoda tells her that she regrets marrying Mohamed when Nadia was in love with him.

Mohamed complies with Hoda's wish for a divorce. Sa'oud is hospitalized after he has a stroke. Jinan agrees to sell Sa'oud's share to Salem. Nadia thinks that she is pregnant.

Jinan informs Salem that Wafaa knows about their affair. Sherifa gets expelled from school. Abdel Aziz refuses to let Nadia keep the baby. Hoda reconciles with Mohamed.

Rashed discovers that his father, Abdel Aziz, is married to Nadia. Jinan's mother overhears Wafaa telling Fawaz about Jinan's betrayal of Sa'oud.

Rashed bargains with his father to get him to approve his marriage in exchange for keeping silent about his marriage to Nadia. Sa'oud regrets his treatment of his daughters and squandering their rights. Eissa kills himself.

In the wake of her son's suicide, Jinan's mother passes away. Nadia asks for a divorce.

Nadia regrets marrying Abdel Aziz. Wafaa tries to help Ali get over Eissa's death.

Sa'oud informs Jinan that he sold his share in the cafe to Salem. Nadia is put in charge of the plastic surgeries case and asks Wafaa to help her.

When Noura quarrels with Omar, he takes their son away. Jinan notices that Salem is pulling away from her, prompting her to threaten him.

Nadia asks Ya'coub to keep her sister away from the plastic surgeries case. Jinan advises Noura to return to her husband. Sherifa discovers Nadia's secret marriage to Abdel Aziz.

Salem threatens to cause a scandal for Jinan if Sa'oud doesn't give up everything he owns to her. Omar informs Mohamed that he wants to divorce Noura.

Sa'oud quarrels with Omar as he tries to reconcile him and Noura. Salem renews his threats to expose Jinan. Mohamed and Hoda begin treatment to have children.

Nadia claims that she was assaulted. Sherifa threatens to expose Abdel Aziz if he doesn't give Nadia her rights. Wafaa confronts Jinan about her affair with Salem.

Wafaa is advised to return to her work. Omar prepares to travel with his young son. When the actress Sarah dies during plastic surgery, the incident pulls focus to Nadia's case.

As Jinan and Salem quarrel in the street, Hoda and Mohamed step in to save Jinan. Wafaa informs Noura that Fawaz wants to marry her. Omar refuses to take Noura back and leaves the country. Ya'coub gets attacked.

As Omar grows repentant, he returns to ask Noura for forgiveness. Fawaz gets a recording of a conversation between the plastic surgeon and the actor Khaled, which causes the investigation to be reopened. Ya'coub discovers that Nadia is married in secret.

As Hoda and Mohamed have a child, Mohamed is shocked when Salem threatens him. Sa'oud divorces Jinan after he grows suspicious of her, but his daughters manage to reconcile them. Ya'coub proposes to Nadia.
