When a number of young people drop dead suddenly, an investigation is launched. The health official Abu Fahd assigns Mosa'ed to the case and asks him to find the cause of death and the connection between them. Mosa'ed asks Dr. Eman to help him investigate the mysterious deaths.

3rd Episode

The medical team holds off on burying the bodies until they identify the cause of death. Dr. Eman is concerned about provoking public opinion. Sa'oud, a colleague of the jouranlist Fajr, dies suddently. Abu Fahd reluctantly agrees to appear on a TV channel to assure people.

When the medical team agrees to perform an autopsy on the bodies, Dr. Eman asks Abu Fahd for the approval of the Ministry of Health. As the families of the victims gather, some of them bury their dead without an autopsy.

The families of the victims refuse to approve the autopsy. Mosa'ed asks Eng. Khalil to join the medical team after he designs a center for quarantine. Fajr's editor-in-chief refuses to allow her to cover the case and photograph the victims' families.

As the quarantine center is set up, Khalil is put in charge. As the death toll rises, universities close down and a curfew is declared. Dr. Zaid decides to collaborate with Fajr to publish information about the disease that he suspects originated from the Uranium in Iraq.

Khalil objects to the Ministry of Health's statement and demands transparency about the spread of the disease instead of claiming that they have everything under control. When Noura's brother Jassem dies, the family is placed in quarantine. The police lose control of the streets.

Dr. Zaid remembers how he isolated himself from everyone after one of his experiments killed someone. The coroner determines that the virus causes a stroke. Mosa'ed discovers that Khalil just got out of a psychiatric facility and he is hallucinating the presence of his late wife and daughter.

Mosa'ed tells Eman that Khalil is insane. The press launches a campaign against Abu Fahd over his misleading statements. Zaid asks Fajr to bring him samples from the patients so that he could analyze them. Fajr is arrested. Noura's fiancé gets inside the quarantine center to see her.

When Haitham is caught inside the quarantine center, he is forced to undergo tests as he futilely tries to find Noura. Fajr is released.

Dr. Khalil asks Fajr to aid them. The police confirm that Haitham wasn't alone in breaching quarantine. Mosa'ed's second wife, Salma, wants to return to Egypt to avoid getting infected. Eman confronts Fajr about Dr. Zaid.
