In 1964, an insane asylum witnesses the horrific abuse of its inmates, sending the journalist Lana Winters on the trail of a juicy story that soon sees her landing in a dangerous predicament.

As the murderous Bloody Face continues to wreak havoc, Sister Jude's dark past comes to light during an exorcism that ends on an unexpected note.

Sister Mary Eunice starts her reign of terror in the asylum, nearly driving Sister Jude to the brink. An escape attempt by Grace, Kit, and Lana runs into dangerous complications.

As Sister Jude realizes that there is more to Dr. Arden than meets the eye, Kit is plagued with doubts about the truth of what happened on the night of his wife's disappearance. Dr. Thredson puts Lana through an ordeal as he promises to get her out.
