Samer tries to get Bashir to run some medical tests, but he grows concerned that the latter might have cancer. An audience member informs Bashir that his show gave her the ability to wed a guy from a different religion. Layal breaks up with Norus. Bashir tries to get back together with Layal.

Rabah's younger brother passes away. Bashir promises to help Taghrid when she informs him that her family wants to kill her. As Bashir agonizes over the thought of Layal having a relationship with someone else, he reflects on their multiple breakups over the course of 15 years.

Layal mediates to reconcile Labib and his sister Warda. Layal notices the closeness between Nour and Farid, but Nour denies it when she confronts her. Layal apologizes to Bashir for having another relationship and tells him that she misses him.

When Bashir confesses his love for Layal, she asks for his forgiveness. As they agree to get back together, she visits him at the bank and takes him back to the store. Bashir remembers the circumstances that led to his and Layal's first meeting.

When Samy and Nabil go to Bashir for information about their sister Taghrid's whereabouts, he gives them her number. Bashir learns that Layal's ex is called Norus. Bashir continues to reflect on the memory of his and Layal's meeting.

It's revealed that Bashir and Norus know each other. Layal is upset that Bashir is suspicious of her because she didn't answer Norus's call in front of him. It's revealed that the number Bashir gave Taghrid's brothers is an old one. Nour and Farid quarrel over her father.

Shadia calls Layal to apologize for leaving the house. Shadia's mother blames Layal for the change in Shadia's behavior. Layal promises to wed Bashir regardless of any illness. Samer and his father recruit Adnan for an illegal act.

Bashir asks for Layal's hand in marriage. Rabah loses his temper when Labib objects to the way Layal is getting engaged. Bashir suffers from a severe headache. Samy advises Gamil to wed Nour because she is Adnan's daughter. Taghrid sends Bashir a message.

As Rabah questions his wife on her plans with Gamil, he warns her to stay away from the ill-reputed Adnan. Samy insults his father's manhood due to the latter's actions with Taghrid. Bashir recalls his conversation with Layal about his brother's death and whether Adnan was involved.

Bashir takes Taghrid to live with Layal. Labib weds Kenda and takes her home, which angers Warda. Layal asks Warda and Shadia to come live with her, as Labib's mother moves in with Rabah. Bashir tells Karim that he doesn't care about who he weds, he only cares about his happiness.

Taghrid recounts her story to Warda, Shadia, Nour, and Layal. Bashir recalls how he and Layal clashed after their first meeting. Taghrid asks her husband Hakim to expedite their divorce procedures.

Bashir recalls the conflict he had with Layal after he accidentally sent her a message meant for his mistress, Layla. He also reflects on their split and subsequent reconciliation after she learned that he had an appendectomy.

Bashir recalls his preoccupation with the story of the Brazilian man who was looking for his family. As Samy and two armed men assault Karim and Wadi', Karim ends up getting shot. Captain Yasser arrests Samy and the others despite his knowledge that they are Adnan's men.

Abu Samy (Samy's father) grows upset with the way Adnan received him. When Norus calls Nagat to check on Karim, he informs her that Bashir is about to get married. Layal tells Taghrid that she should take advantage of her brother's imprisonment to have an abortion.

Rabah convinces Labib to get an independent house for him and his wife. Bashir gets upset when Karim informs him that his mother claims that he is going to wed an ill-reputed woman. Bashir agrees to Tamer's suggestion to host a show.

After Layal's brother Raga'ey visits Bashir at the bank, Layal tells the girls about the fight she had with Bashir. Bashir and Layal take Taghrid to a gynecologist to get an abortion. Norus asks Nagla to inform Adnan that Nour will be harmed by Bashir's marriage to Layal.

Mervat insults Karim and says that loving him was a mistake. As Bashir tries to convince Taghrid's father to forgive her and allow her to come home, Taghrid's mother threatens to leave the house to get him to forgive Taghrid. Nagla warns Bashir against attempts to sabotage his marriage to Layal.

Bashir suffers from a debilitating headache at the bank, prompting Ramez to rush him to the hospital. As Layal arrives to check on him, she is shocked to find four other women asking after him. Samy is released from prison.

Ramez informs Layal that Bashir might need surgery. Samy informs his family of the reason Hakim left Taghrid. A flashback reveals an episode of Bashir's show where Julie and Gigi discuss the Personal Status Law.

As Taghrid discusses how Bashir's show covered civil marriage and the Personal Status Law, a flashback shows the discussion Gigi and Julia had on the show. Nour is propositioned by a driver to meet his police officer son in an attempt to set them up together.

The doctor decides to take a biopsy from Bashir to run some tests. When Samy decides that he will either kill Taghrid or kill himself, his father asks Adnan to have him imprisoned. Layla refuses to accept Adnan's objection to her marriage to Bashir.

Layal informs Bashir of Adnan's opposition to their marriage. The driver tries to discern if Nour takes after her father. When Adnan sends for Rabah to discuss Layal's marriage, Rabah tells him that it's none of his business. Adnan informs Layal that he and Nour are going to spend the day with her.

Nour refuses to return to her father's house or accept her new suitor. Samer sets up a meeting with Nour. Taghrid refuses to reconcile with Hakim. Ramez reveals that Bashir might have a tumor.

Bashir refuses to undergo surgery. When Nour meets Yasser, she starts to see her father as a shameful presence in her life. Bashir recalls Layal's inquiry about Raw'a and how it coincided with Adnan's pursuit of her.

A flashback reveals Bashir asking Karim to create a Facebook account for him. In the present, Yasser refuses to get engaged to Nour, which upsets his father. Hanady entrusts Mazen to Nour and asks her to keep Mazen with her if anything happens to Hanady.

When Soliman informs Bashir that he has forgiven Taghrid, Bashir and Karim return Taghrid to her house. Adnan divorces Hanady after she threatens to kill herself. Adnan asks Norus to use the recording he took of the threat to prove Hanady's insanity. Adnan blackmails Soliman.

Soliman drops dead after his meeting with Adnan. Nour confesses her love for Yasser. Norus suggests that Adnan get Samy to carry out Soliman's mission, but Samy refuses to take the fall by himself. Taghrid's mother assures the female mourners that her husband forgave Taghrid prior to his death.

Yasser confesses his love for Nour. Maram assures Layal that Wadi' is a good person. A flashback reveals Bashir and Layal's fourth breakup over his past dalliances, and it's prompted by Nagla kissing Bashir in front of Layal.

Layla asks to wed Bashir before his surgery. Yasser gives Nour the picture of a martyr who died in southern Lebanon during the Israeli invasion. Nour discovers that the picture belongs to her uncle. Yasser asks Nour to set a date for him to ask for her hand.

Yasser's father tells Rabah, his wife, and Layal the story of how Labib was martyred. Bashir and Layal have a small wedding. As Bashir goes into surgery, it's revealed that the tumor is benign. Bashir returns to work with a new show.
