Shaker looks to end the life of poverty he leads, and agrees to conclude deal on the sly in the company he works for so he’d get rich quickly, while Abu Abdullah suffers after the death of his father, as his siblings demand that he speed up the division of the inheritance.

Fatima asks her husband Shaker to help his sister. Abu Abdullah's wife suggests that he work with Shaker, whom Saber tries to advise to stay away from shady deals. Shaker gets fired, after proof of his fraud and corruption comes to light. Wedad enters the hospital to have a surgery to save her fetus.

Nabil agrees with Shaker to set up a project. As Wedad loses her fetus, the doctor tells her husband that she won’t be able to conceive again. Fatima tries to advise Shaker not to get involved in shady business.

As a big fire breaks out in the goods truck that Shaker bought, Nabil asks to dissolve their partnership, while Shaker decides to take revenge on Saber, whom he suspects is the one behind the incident, as well as to fight Nabil in the market.

Saber advises Nabil to start over, away from Shaker. As Nabil’s deal proves unsuccessful, he’s forced to look for another job. Shaker's wife gives birth to a baby girl and turns to Wedad and Nabil to help her get to the hospital.

Saber agrees with Kamal that Nabil return to work with Shaker again, so that he can get back what he’s due. Wedad tells Fatima that Shaker caused Nabil's loss.

Shaker agrees to Nabil’s working with him. When a worker in Shaker’s factory gets injured, the latter refuses to pay him compensation. As years pass by, Abdullah’s son grows up and asks his father to marry Shaker’s daughter.

Fatima is constantly troubled by the recklessness of her eldest son, and when she gets sick, Wedad and Nabil take her to the hospital while Shaker is abroad. Shaker is surprised by Nabil's making decisions in favor of the workers at the factory and decides to revoke them.

Hala advises her father Shaker to care about the workers and improve the work environment. Shaker spoils his son Marwan with money and buys him a car without Fatima's approval.

Fatima admonishes Shaker for buying a car for his son and spoiling him too much. Shaker decides to marry off his daughter to some wealthy guy. Nabil's son graduates from university and decides to work with his father, while continuing his studies.

Shaker’s son keeps behaving recklessly, quitting his job at his father's company, whereupon he has a car accident. Wedad insists on Hanan's marrying her son Abdullah. Shaker's youngest daughter dies, while he loses his money in a deal.

Wedad discovers that Marwan was injured in a car accident and that his condition is critical. A huge fire breaks out in Shaker’s factory, after which he becomes traumatized.

A doctor saves Shaker, treating him from his mental crisis, and as he disappears for a while, everyone keeps looking for him until he returns home, after which he decides to start over, steering clear of shady business.
