Dr. Adam writes the forensic report for a crime, and he learns that his son Youssef has problems with his wife, Diala. Lt. Col. Ward examines Lamis Al-Noury's body and finds a note she wrote to her husband saying she didn't regret eloping with him. He suspects it wasn't suicide.

Ward tries to uncover the truth about Lamis's murder and learns that she had an affair with her manager and her husband is her murderer. Diala gets a file from the legal affairs department at Alia's, Mo'tasem's mother, company. A new murder takes place in a rocky area.

Ward heads to the morgue to examine the dead body, and the doctor believes it's an organ trade business. Ward gets into conflict with the coroner. Adam asks Rima to go to his place and prepare to receive her daughter. Nour arrives in Syria and searches for Sally.

Mona reports the disappearance of her sister Sally to the Egyptian Embassy. Rita provides the students with a psychiatric insight into suicide. Nour informs Mo'tasem of her report to the embassy. Ward asks for Adam's help with the murder case whose victim's identity is revealed.

At the hospital, Nour identifies the body and affirms it is her sister. When Adam performs an autopsy, he learns her organs were removed after her death. Nour tells Nasser about Sally's relationship with Mo'tasem, while Ward investigates the latter as well as Alia and the employees of the company.

Diala informs Youssef of Sally's murder and that Alia and Mo'tasem are being investigated. Nour has a mental breakdown, and Adam's report reveals to Ward that Sally was three-months pregnant when she was murdered. Diala gets upset and tells Mo'tasem that Adam learned about Sally's pregnancy.

Diala asks Jubran to defend Mo'tasem, and Ward tells Nour about Sally's pregnancy and confronts Mo'tasem. Mo'tasem tells Jubran about his relationship with Sally. Nour affirms that Sally didn't break up with Mo'tasem, and Diala confesses to Youssef that she helped Mo'tasem kill Sally.

Ward tries to get Mo'tasem to confess, while the latter denies all charges. Diala enlists Youssef's help to tamper with the forensic report and omit the part about Sally's pregnancy. Youssef prints a forged copy that Ward switches with the original one. Hayat, Adam's daughter, is kidnapped.

Diala tells Mo'tasem that Adam's fear for his daughter prompted him to change his statement and claim Sally wasn't pregnant. Youssef berates Diala for kidnapping his sister and vows revenge on Mo'tasem who denies having anything to do with the crime. Brigadier Ammar summons Adam for investigation.

Adam testifies that he made a mistake and Sally wasn't pregnant. Youssef urges Mo'tasem to release Hayat. Adam accuses Mostafa of tampering with the report.

Mo'tasem learns of recent manipulation and theft in the company. Ward brings an ex-coroner to reveal what Adam is hiding.

Diala tells Youssef that Hayat safely returned home. Hayat passes away, and Adam breaks down. Adam keeps the news of Hayat's death from Youssef.

Diala tells Mo'tasem that Adam traveled to Beirut with Hayat. Nour accuses Mo'tasem of murdering Sally and tampering with the forensic report. She tries to find Adam's address.

Rita tells Adam that an Egyptian lady is looking for him. When Ward insists that Mo'tasem is the murderer, Ammar gives him a week to prove it. A grief-stricken Adam buries Hayat. Diala reproaches Mo'tasem for telling his mother he killed Sally.

Nour heads to Ward's house in an attempt to find out where Adam is, and Ward's wife gives her Adam's address surreptitiously. Adam urges Rita to travel to him, and he cannot stop thinking about Hayat's kidnapping and the falsified report.

Rita knows about Hayat's death, and Adam tells her the full story. Youssef monitors Diala. Adam meets Ward and apologizes for falsely examining Sally's dead body. Ward tells him he knows the murderer but lacks evidence against him.

Adam asks Mostafa to monitor Ward's assistant. He tells Youssef that he returned home and left Hayat at the hospital. Nour tells Samah she found an envelope with money. Adam asks Nour not to follow him. Mostafa writes Ward's assistant a threat on the windshield of his car.

Adam returns to university where he gives a lecture with Rita. Ward's assistant rushes to Abu Jabry's house, and the latter suggests that the person who left him the threat is the same who falsified Sally's forensic report. Ammar urges Ward to finalize the file of the case as soon as possible.

Mostafa takes pictures of the girls frequenting the house of Ward's assistant, Assem. Adam sneaks into Assem's house and uses soporific gas before he ties him up. Adam then meets Nour and recounts to her the accident and asks for her help to catch the murderer.

Adam points a gun at Assem who confesses that he got the fake report from an unknown person whom he believes to be one of Abu Jabry's men. Adam kills Assem. Nour collaborates with Adam. Ward rushes to Assem's house where he finds blood with no corpse.

Etab, Ward's wife, falls off the stairs and she is rushed to the hospital after she loses her baby. Adam sends a USB flash drive to Rita's friend, a presenter, with information about Assem's murder, who shows it on the Internet, as he uses the name Faust. Mostafa monitors Abu Jabry.

Ammar asks Ward to search Assem's house again. Adam assigns his students to write elaborate researches on hanging. Ward meets Reham who tells him the details of what has happened. Ward then interrogates Assem's father. Adam asks Rita to act normal.

Mostafa tells Adam that he saw Ramy at Abu Jabry's. Ramy tells Diala what happened to Assem. Rita tells Adam he should've resorted to law instead of taking matters into his own hands, but he is determined to take revenge. Ward releases Reham and monitors her and Rita.

Abu Jabry confesses to Adam that the forensic coroner, Ramy, is the one who asked him to bring Sally's corpse to his house to perform an autopsy. He also confesses that an anonymous man delivered the fake report to Assem. Rita denies having anything to do with the crime.

Nasser receives a video showing Abu Jabry's hanging, and Nizar affirms to Ward that Abu Jabry is dead. At Ward's orders, Reham posts the video to arrest the perpetrator. Mostafa hides at Ramy's car. Adam sends Ramy the same video.

Youssef arrives at Ramy's house with the money he got from Diala. Youssef strangles Ramy and takes his phone away after he threatens to expose Diala. Etab and Ward argue because of Ward's job. Mostafa monitors Ramy's house. Youssef looks for Abu Nedal.

Mostafa returns to Ramy's apartment and finds him dead. Adam sends Ward a USB flash drive with Abu Jabry's conversations. Abu Nedal tells Youssef that Mo'tasem killed Sally, and Abu Nedal took her in his car to bury her.

As Dr. Nizar examines Ramy's body, he reports he was strangled to death, approximately 12 hours ago. Youssef holds Abu Nedal hostage. Adam hides at Rima's house. Ward plays his surveillance cameras and learns that a masked man put the USB flash drive in his daughter's bag.

Nour asks Samah for the name of Mo'atasem's lawyer. At Adam's orders, Rita meets Jubran to consult him on a legal problem. Rita learns that Diala handles the legal affairs of Mo'atasem's company. Nour tells Adam that she found important documents on Sally's USB flash drive.

As Adam goes through the documents, he learns that Mo'atasem's company was involved in suspicious deals, and he considers the possibility that Mo'atasem might not be the murderer. Ward relates Assem and Abu Jabry's deaths to Sally's. Diala is suspicious of Rima.

Adam tells Rita that Alia is involved in corruption cases. Mostafa and Adam break into Alia's villa and confront her. Youssef learns that Diala has tampered with reports stating he can't have children.

Adam tells Alia that he killed Assem and Abu Jabry because they were involved, and he accuses her of murdering Ramy and Sally, tampering with the forensic report, and kidnapping Hayat. Alia confesses to her crimes. Ward thinks that Adam is involved in all the crimes.

Ward asks for Ammar's permission to call Adam for investigation, but Ammar rules him out. Youssef assaults Diala for lying about his inability to have children. Adam records a video of him giving an account of the crimes that followed Sally's death.
