Both Shawqy and Zika work as garbage men. Zika takes Soka's guitar, and it is revealed that she loves the composer she works for, but the latter loves Karamela. Shawqy is enamored with Nahed. Rashad's father refuses to collect the garbage from Zika and Shawqy's buildings.

When Zika sings at a wedding, he and Shawqy are beaten. Sharbasy proposes that Al-Do'aky becomes the head of the Association of Garbage Men. The melody of a song reminds Nesrine of her painful past. Shawqy gets a part in a film. Bedir agrees to publish articles attacking Zambizy.

The director gives Shawqy the role of a garbageman who gets beaten by actor Mohamed Mamdouh. Zika tells singer Moustafa Amar about his love for Karamela and his wish to become a singer. Omran proposes that Al-Do'aky and Baghdady run for the elections of the association. Nona proposes to Shawqy.

Rashad gets the building assigned to Shawqy and Zika, and as he beats them, the incident is reported to the police. Al-Do'aky and Baghdady reconcile as the latter pays five thousand pounds. Zohira tells Zika about an art competition. Mamado is enraged by the articles.

Shawqy and Zika refuse to work as Sonia's assistants. Presidential debates between Baghdady and Al-Do'aky are held. Rashad catches Shawqy and Nahed together. When Al-Do'aky proposes for Shawqy and Nahed to get married, Baghdady refuses out of disrespect for Shawqy's job.

Bedir receives a threat from Zambizy's ambassador. Zika plots with Rozza to catcall Karamela, and then Zika saves her and she rides with him. Baghdady refuses to wed Nahed to Shawqy in exchange for Al-Do'aky's withdrawal from the elections. Mamado learns he has two children with Shaikhouna in Egypt.

Mamado starts his investigations to learn where the twins are. Bedir assigns Mounir to write a report on the garbage issue. Zika confesses his love for Karamela and they go out.

Shawqy asks Nona to reject her suitor. Baghdady asks Rashad to help him reach the governor.

Baghdady invites Shokry to Nona's engagement. Shiha grows impatient with Fouda for the shipment delay.

As Al-Do'aky goes with Zika and Shawqy to meet the governor, he discovers that his appointment with the governor is scheduled two years later. Nona accompanies her father and fiancé to buy her wedding jewelry.

Shokry attends Nona's engagement party and advises the garbage men to vote for Baghdady. The police raid the neighborhood to look for Al-Do'aky.

Following the published article, the governor and the Minister of Environment meet Al-Do'aky to learn of the problems of the garbage men. Al-Do'aky wins the association elections.

Fouda gives his apprentices the drugs to sell. When Zika and his family visit Karima's family to ask for her hand in marriage, Halim kicks them out when he learns that they are garbage men. Mamado visits his embassy in Egypt to follow up on the investigations himself.

Rasmiya is arrested when Mandour accuses her of plotting the robbery of his house with Bayoumy. Nona's mother complains to Baghdady about his daughter's attempts to drive Badawy away. Mai stipulates that Ezz must buy her wedding jewelry and give her both a dower and a deferred dowry.

Mamado refuses to travel to England with Soma who wants to have a baby. Al-Do'aky fails in his attempts to get Mandour to drop the charges against Rasmiya. Zika and Shawqy find Bayoumy at a gambling site, as the police raid the place.

Rasmiya is released. Ezz is upset that he has to earn a living by singing in a cabaret. Zika believes Karamela to have moved on and forgotten about him. As Mamado arrives in Egypt to follow the investigations, Bedir believes Mamado came because of the anti-Zambizy reports he keeps publishing.

Mamado gives the doorman Othman a reward when the latter tells him he saw a garbage man taking the twins. He also learns that Al-Do'aky has twin sons. Ezz mediates with Sonia to help his friend travel to Morocco. Karamela tells Zika she feigned indifference so that her father will let her go out.

Mamado grows suspicious of Al-Do'aky when he refuses to go to the embassy. Zika and Shawqy learn that Fouda manipulated them to deliver drugs that they took when Fouda's men quarreled with Shiha's. When Mamado's policemen arrive, Zika and Shawqy run away, and Mamado believes Al-Do'aky helped them.

When they learn from Rasmiya that the police confiscated the drugs, Zaky and Shawqy work with Sonia who gets them a rooftop room to stay at. She asks them to get passports to travel with her and Bedir. Mamado tempts Al-Do'aky with money. Abbasy's family encourage him to turn against Mamado.

Shawqy and Zika use forged passports to flee the country. Al-Do'aky gives up his position as the head of the garbage men association.

Baghdady tries to persuade Nahed to marry Badawy. In Morocco, Zika and Shawqy fail to get jobs but win a trip back to Egypt.

Shawqy and Zika leave Sonia's band. The duo get chased by the police while delivering goods to Jilaty.

The Moroccan police arrest Zika and Shawqy, and Mamado gets them out and tells them he's their father. Bedir's newspaper publishes the news, and the DNA test affirms that Zika and Shawqy are indeed Mamado's sons. Baghdady tells Badawy he won't marry Nona.

Al-Do'aky and Rasmiya refuse to go to the embassy with Zika and Shawqy, but Mamado convinces Al-Do'aky to go. Mamado tries to convince his sons to return to Zambizy with him. Halim asks Karamela to call Zika and apologize to him. Baghdady asks Nona to call Shawqy to come and wed her.

Bedir accepts to attend the party Mamado is throwing to celebrate his sons. Zika and Shawqy are shocked when Ezz, his fiancée, and Sonia show up at the party. Soma, Mamado's wife, is jealous when she sees Mamado with Sonia. Mamado isn't pleased with the garbage men attending his diplomatic party.

When her father refuses their marriage, Farida and Bedir open up to one another about their lives. Mamado's attempt to bribe Bedir to stop attacking him proves futile. Mamado entrusts Abbasy to teach Zika and Shawqy how to behave as the sons of a president.

Zika asks Ezz to help him record an album, and Shawqy asks him to help him act, much to Mamado's dissatisfaction. When Al-Do'aky defends Zika and Shawqy, Mamado gives orders to kill Al-Do'aky, but Abbasy advises him against it and asks him to let his sons do what they desire.

Mamado returns to Zambizy to square up to the opposition. Zika and Shawqy learn the basics of politics and ruling. Al-Do'aky tells the garbage men that they will have their vehicles changed.

Mamado is nonchalant about Soma's threat to poison his food. Mamado refuses to adopt democratic methods with his opposition, however peaceful they are being. As Shawqy, Zika, Al-Do'aky, and Rasmiya eat, they find themselves ill.

Mamado pays no heed to Soma's threats to reveal his secrets. When Al-Do'aky, Rasmiya, Shawqy, and Zika slip into a coma, Mamado learns that Zola poisoned their food. Mamado opposes wedding his sons to lower-class girls.

Mamado makes his sons choose between living with him or marrying their sweethearts. Farida stops answering Bedir's calls to placate her children. Mamado talks to Abbasy about divorcing Soma to wed Sonia. Abbasy brings a life coach to Zika and Shawqy, and they forget all about Karamela and Nona.

Zika and Shawqy return home drunk and refuse to accept Al-Do'aky and Rasimya as their parents. With Natalie and Mira in their lives, Zika and Shawqy change. The duo's car explodes. Sonia asks Mamado to grant her the right to the legal dissolution of the marriage.

It turns out that Zika and Shawqy weren't in the car that exploded. Bedir tells the duo that the opposition is targeting them. Mamado weds Sonia. Abbasy sends Nona and Karamela footage of their lovers dancing with Natalie and her friend.

Mamado is worried when Zika and Shawqy get imprisoned for beating a guy at the disco. He takes them to Zambizy so that their inclination towards power and authority would blind their hearts to singing and acting. Rasmiya tries to persuade Nona and Karamela not to give up on their lovers.

Fearing she might kill Zika and Shawqy, Mamado locks Soma up. As Zika and Shawqy arrive in Zambizy, they're thrilled with the hearty welcome. Mamado tells his sons that only one of them will be chosen as his deputy. Shawqy gets shot by Abbasy. Ezz goes mad and kills Mai.

Shawqy receives a donation of healthy liver tissue from Zika and undergoes a liver transplant. Zika and Shawqy marry their sweethearts. A revolution to overthrow Mamado breaks out, and Sonia divorces him. Zika and Shawqy and their wives go back to live and work with Al-Do'aky and Rasmiya.
