Egyptian Intelligence Agent Khaled Sabry is keeping watch over a spy in a European capital. Omar Salah is a camera technician whose brother just returned from Iraq. When their sister's fiancé reprimands them for their inability to afford their sister's marriage, Omar beats him up.

Omar and his sister's fiancé end up at the police station after their fight. Omar is late in picking his son up from school, which saddens his son and angers his ex-wife. Omar discovers that his motorcycle has been towed by the traffic police. He meets Khaled Sabry when he goes to get it back.

Khaled introduces himself to Omar as Gamal Ramadan, an officer with the Department of Public Fund's Crimes. He tells Omar that the company he works at is illegally trading currency and asks Omar to plant a surveillance camera inside. Omar's brother, Kamel, starts looking for a new project.

When Omar gets a new assignment that takes him to a company with suspicious owners, he questions one of his neighbors about the history of the Jew's presence in Egypt. Khaled asks Omar to retrieve the camera he planted at his company.

Khaled tells Omar that he will bring a specialist to meet him the next day. Khaled brings officer Nader to question Omar about what he saw. Omar learns that Khaled's assignment was a recruitment test from the General Intelligence Directorate.

The Mossad records Salem's sexual encounter with a girl to pressure him into working for them. Khaled learns that his wife's childbearing chances are low. The Intelligence Directorate keeps an eye on Salem and how he recruits the Arabs who arrive in Greece.

The Mossad agent disapproves of Salem's wish to recruit Sarah. Farida asks her neighbor to take her to a charlatan. Khaled gives Omar an expensive gift for his son.

As Salem grows close to Sarah, Omar accepts to work with Khaled. Khaled gets his neighbor's son a job but asks his wife not to force him to use his office for such a favor again. Omar learns that his mother's illness was because his sister's former fiancé got engaged.

Shlomo tells Salem that he can get to him wherever he goes, and they hash out their work plan. Omar takes time off his job so that he can begin his training for his upcoming mission. He receives a detailed file on Salem and his family. Hassan asks Salem to work with him.

As Khaled trains Omar, Salem tries to get Hassan to tell him about his brother-in-law who is a navy officer. Salem visits Sarah and learns that she has someone over. Sarah asks Abu Nedal to leave, but he is killed by masked men on his way back.

Khaled advises Omar to tell his mother that he borrowed money from his father to go abroad. Omar enlists Mahmoud's help to go to Greece in an attempt to collect enough money so he could afford to get married. Raiu plots against Omar.

When Omar is arrested, Khaled doesn't try to interfere to test Omar's endurance. When Omar is released, he compliments Omar on how he dealt with what happened and asks him to get ready for his trip the next day, which turns out to be another test for Omar's resolve.

When Omar arrives in Greece, Mahmoud introduces him around as his friend's son. Salem sees Omar's potential and tells the Mossad agent Danny about him. Farida discovers that her IVF didn't work.

Danny rebukes Salem for the unconfirmed information about Omar and orders him to make sure they are correct. He gives a new assignment. Omar pays for Salem's drinks in an attempt to gain his trust. Sarah meets Omar.

When Khadija tries to get close to Omar and asks him to meet her in a public square, Salem sees them together and offers to let Omar stay with him at his hotel. Salem tells Danny about what happened and takes Omar to meet up with some prostitutes.

Omar gets alcohol poisoning. Khaled Sabry goes to Greece to meet Mostafa. Khaled meets Omar after his recovery and demands that he tell him everything he knows.

When Mahmoud is arrested for possessing cannabis, Salem and Omar enlist Sarah's help to get him a lawyer. When Khaled finds out, he asks Mustafa to look into the possibility of it being a test for Omar. The Mossad gather information about Omar's job in Cairo.

When Saboba tells Salem that he saw him plant the cannabis in Salem's office and blackmails him, Danny tells Salem to kill Saboba. Omar takes over Mahmoud's cafe. Shalaby's relationship with Ibrahim grows stronger. Fatma asks Hania to extend Omar's vacation.

Khaled throws a dinner party for his family and friends. Omar tells Sarah that he is going back to Egypt soon. Sayed asks Fatma to marry him in secret. Salem arranges for Saboba to be filmed with a prostitute to prevent him from blackmailing him again.

Omar meets Noha on his way back to Egypt and she gives him a ride. Danny is furious that Salem defied him and didn't kill Saboba. Omar reunites with his family.

Danny detains Salem in the Israeli embassy and has him tortured as punishment for his defiance. Omar meets up with Khaled to brief him on his mission. Noha tries to seduce Omar into a sexual relationship and films him inside the health club.

The Intelligence Directorate arrange for Omar's motorcycle to be towed so he can escape Noha's trap. Khaled assigns Omar to install surveillance camera inside the Cairo governorate's building to lure Salem in with the promise of sensitive information. Noha asks Omar to come for an urgent matter.

Noha alleges that her health club was robbed, but Omar can not find anything on the surveillance cameras. Omar fights with his ex-wife and her husband after they are called in to his son's school. Omar returns to Greece and informs Salem about the camera's inside the governorate's building.

Khaled quarrels with Farida when he learns that she is attending religious lessons. Omar makes a deal with Sarah over the cameras that are being shipped to Egypt. Danny asks to meet Omar.

Omar feigns surprise when Danny informs him that he knows everything about him. Noha confirms the presence of a camera inside the governor's office. Khaled suspects that Kamel's new fiancée, Lobna, is working for the Mossad. A group of masked men kidnaps Omar.

The Greek National Intelligence Service questions Omar about the reason for his presence in Greece. They inject him with a toxin that will kill him in two hours and promise him the antidote if he confesses. After Omar wakes up in the street, he receives a message to meet Khaled.

As Omar meets a disguised Khaled, Danny arrives with instructions on Omar's new mission. The Egyptian Intelligence officers come up with a plan to see Omar to get information about his kidnapping.

To Omar's surprise, Danny takes him to the Israeli embassy despite his objections. Danny threatens to send a copy of his conversation with Omar inside the embassy to the Egyptian Intelligence if Omar doesn't work for him. Omar pretends to accept under duress.

Mahmoud discovers that Salem is the one who got him arrested. Khaled tries to find out the secret that Shalaby and Noha are hiding. Danny takes Salem and Omar to meet the agency's director.

Salem and Omar discover that Sarah is the agency's director. Omar informs Mustafa of Sarah's real identity. Khaled goes undercover at Noha's center. Saboba lures Rose in and tortures her on Sarah's instructions. Sarah takes Omar to Rhodes Island and informs him that he is going to Tel Aviv.
