A documentary on the young officer Gamal Abdel Nasser, who in 1952 led a military coup against the king, which later turned into a popular revolution. Over the course of 18 years, he challenged external Western hegemony, and also confronted Islamists at home, creating the first military regime in the region. Nasser began a revolution he could not complete.
