The director trapped the cast in a room without any food or drink to prepare them to cope with their roles in the movie.

The director wasn’t allowed to use a tripod at Highgate cemetery, so ended up balancing the camera on the head of the sound recordist's head.

Dan Paton was asked to choke for real for a scene, and give a sign if the penny that he was given dropped. After the first few shots went fine, the penny dropped and Paton couldn’t breathe. Everyone rushed to help him. The shot was then added the movie as it was very realistic.
