As Sanaa falls down and injures her leg, Farid drives her home and receives an invitation to attend her exhibit. Rashad's mother asks him to wed Sanaa, but he refuses. Farid grows jealous when he sees Rashad dining with Sanaa. Sanaa's uncle, Al-Shazly, is a gambler who steals money from her father's company.
Malek quarrels with his brother, Al-Shazly, over the latter's mistreatment and arbitrary dismissal of the factory workers. Sanaa reconciles with Farid and goes out to dinner with him. On his way back from the factory, unknown assailants beat and rob Malek.
Malek is rushed to the hospital. Upon his release, he decides to write a share of the company over to Al-Shazly, and another share to his sister Doga. As Farid proposes to Sanaa, they throw a party to celebrate their engagement. It's revealed that Al-Shazly is the one behind what happened to Malek.
As Sanaa goes on a cruise with a sailor, some men attack them at sea and kill the sailor, but Sanaa manages to escape. As Malek and Farid look for Sanaa, the naval police find the sailor's body. Sanaa takes refuge in a hut, hitting a man over the head when he ventures in.
As Sanaa seeks shelter with an elderly woman living with her son, the woman thinks that Sanaa is her lost daughter Arabiya. She invites Sanaa in and gives her food and clothes. When the woman's son, Belqasem, returns, he tells his mother that Sanaa is not his sister and that they need to call the police.
As Belqasem grows worried about Sanaa's presence in his house, his questioning of her reveals that she only remembers the attack at sea. Belqasem quarrels with his mother, who doesn't want him to inform the police. Farid asks the naval police about Sanaa. Sanaa's father falls ill.
Belqasem agrees to find Sanaa a job at the hotel where he works in Tabarka. The hotel manager, Kamal, agrees to hire Sanaa and provides her with room and board. Malek recovers and returns to work, as his brother starts doing deals behind his back.

As Sanaa starts her job as a cleaning lady at the hotel, her supervisor soon comes to trust her. When Malek stops going to the company, he appoints Tarek in his stead, which makes Al-Shazly angry. Farid gets close to his friend Ayman's sister, but whereas he sees her as a friend, she falls for him.
Rashad discovers that his mother is involved with a young man and taking care of his expenses. As Farid receives a dinner invitation from a woman who is enamoured with him, he visits the hotel where Sanaa works. When the manager discovers that Sanaa can speak several languages, she tells him the truth.
When Malek discovers that Al-Shazly has been stealing from the company, they fight, and Malek falls ill. Farid leaves the hotel without seeing Sanaa. After he confirms that she is not Arabiya, Hassaan takes Sanaa home where she enjoys his nice treatment, especially after he brings her painting supplies.
Sanaa and Hassaan fall for each other. Farid starts working for a traveling agency affiliated with the hotel. As he runs into Sanaa, he is shocked to discover she is alive. Sanaa evades Farid after he tries to remind her of himself. Farid informs Malek that Sanaa is alive. Al-Shazly's daughter is kidnapped.
When Sanaa's father goes to the hotel and meets Farid, the latter tells him that Sanaa lost her memory. Sanaa sequesters herself at home and refuses to meet anyone. Doga discovers that Mourad is cheating on her. Wahida runs away from the gang that kidnapped her.
Sanaa meets her father, uncle, and Rashad. Farid brings a psychiatrist to treat Sanaa, who manages to remember her childhood. After the gang leader steals a bag of money from Al-Shazly's house, he sends Malek a message, informing him that his brother is behind everything that happened to him.
As Malek passes away, he leaves some buildings to Rashad and everything else to Sanaa, while he leaves Al-Shazly and Doga with nothing. Doga and Al-Shazly agree to slip a hallucinogen to Sanaa to force her to sell all her properties to them. Sanaa ends up in a bad shape.
When Sanaa gets admitted to a mental hospital, Al-Shazly sues for guardianship over her fortune, but Farid pulls out all the stops to prove that Sanaa is not mentally ill. Farid plans with Samah to have Al-Shazly confess his crimes. Al-Shazly and Doga get arrested. Sanaa is released from the hospital.
