The series chronicles the life of President Muhammad Anwar Sadat, through depicting the events and feelings of Egyptians during the era of the English occupation. It also exposes the injustice that befell Sadat and the reasons for his imprisonment, then his struggle with the Free Officers to liberate Egypt, and to carry out the 1952 revolution that returned Egypt to its people.
