The play follows two families that live in two neighboring houses and adore each other until one marries. The devil offers buying their neighbors' house to expand. The conflict intensifies between the two friends Khaled and Jaafar due to a temptation from the devil, but the elders deal with it with their wisdom and they are all able to expel the devil.
