Shahira's father hopes to find a suitable place to open a pharmacy for her. Wa'el is upset at his fiancée's idea of going to hotels and pretending to be newlyweds. When Medhat discovers that the minister wants to honor him, he apologizes after promising Edward to attend his wedding.
Medhat tells his daughter Shahira about his intention to sell his land in order to set up a pharmacy for her. As Shahira begins to search for a suitable place for her pharmacy, she discovers that the prices are far more expensive than her financial means.
As Shahira decides to go to Sharqia to visit her uncle Eissa and claim her mother's inheritance, he informs her of his refusal to give her the inheritance of her mother. When she refuses to surrender, he decides to throw her out of his home.
Medhat, Shahira and, Ziad go to see the new pharmacy. When Ziad goes to meet Mona, he threatens her in the event that the case in which he is involved is not resolved. As Ziad tells the story of the case to Shahira, he decides to tell Medhat about it. Wa'el discovers that Ghada is pregnant.
After Shahira graduates from university, she's appointed as a teaching assistant. When Ziad confesses his love to Shahira, she tells him her feelings for him are not love. Ziad becomes depressed after the recent events. Medhat tells his daughter Shahira that she has done the right thing with Ziad.
As Mona tells her father that Ziad molested her, he tells her that she's lying. As Shahira starts her job at the university with Dr. Majed, she opens her new pharmacy amid a celebration of friends and family. After Ghada leaves the house with her daughter, Wa'el begins to remember his feelings for her.
After Ziad has an accident, he apologizes for not meeting Shahira for an important date. As Shahira goes to visit Tawfiq, she meets his son Ra'ouf and a new chapter begins in her life. When Shahira tells Ra'ouf about the medications, he tells her that he will take the necessary measures.
As Shahira lies to her father and tells him that she has not met Tawfiq, she feels unable to control her feelings for Ra'ouf. When Shahira meets Tawfiq, he tells her that there is an assumption that the sample result is due to poor storage in her pharmacy.
When Ghada asks Wa'el to buy an apartment away from his mother, he rejects the matter. Shahira is surprised to see Ra'ouf during her lecture. As Medhat tries to find out Shahira's secret, she continues to hide it. Ghada decides to go home and give up her rights in favor of her daughter, Farida.
As Ra'ouf tells Shahira that he loves her, he asks her to see her father. When Ra'ouf asks for Shahira's hand, Medhat tells him that his father must be informed first.
When Ziad's mother tries to find out what happened to him, he explodes in anger at her. Ra'ouf goes to visit Shahira at the university, and matters between them are becoming more official. As Azza meets her fiancé, she feels uncomfortable with him because she still has feelings for Ziad.
When Shahira goes with her father to Ra'ouf's house to visit his family, Tawfiq tells her that he will not accept for her to have with his son. As Azza's marriage date approaches, Ziad feels that he wasted all his chances.
As Azza tells her fiancé about her true feelings towards him, he understands the matter. She tells her family about her refusal to get married. As Ra'ouf and Shahira get ready for marriage, Tawfiq prepares his son's big wedding. Shahira gets her master's degree, while Ziad observes her from a distance.
As Azza marries Ziad, they decide to travel and not attend Shahira's wedding. As Shahira marries Ra'ouf in a grand wedding ceremony, she's surprised by the presence of Eissa at her wedding. As Ra'ouf travels with Shahira for their honeymoon, Medhat feels lonely after his daughter gets married.
As Azza tries to tell Ziad that she's pregnant, she hints at the idea of having children, but he tells her that he does not want to rush it. When Shahira tells Ra'ouf that she's pregnant, Tawfiq is worried that she might have a girl. Shahira is angry with Ra'ouf's father's control over her.
As Ghada explodes in anger at her mother for going to Wa'el, her mother has a severe epilepsy seizure. After Ra'ouf suddenly travels abroad for work, Shahira feels lonely and decides to go spend time with her father. When Tawfiq asks Shahira to stop going to work until she gives birth, she refuses.
The doctor orders Shahira to stay away from work and stress until she gives birth. Wa'el feels that his mother has ruined his relationship with Ghada. As Shahira notices that Ra'ouf is acting differently, he tells her that he's okay.
As Shahira overhears Ra'ouf talking to his brother Tariq about a mysterious matter, she demands to know the truth, but Ra'ouf insists on not telling her. Ra'ouf is sentenced to three years in prison for drug fraud. Ghada goes to the psychiatrist who tells her to stop taking anti-depressants.
Tariq goes to attend the verdict hearing in the drug fraud case. As Shahira goes to the hospital to give birth, she decides not to tell her father about it. Azza goes to Shahira to stand by her during the birth. Shahira gives birth to her first child, Yehia.
When Shahira and her father go to visit Ra'ouf in prison, he tells her not to visit him again and asks her to consider him abroad until the prison sentence is over. Shahira awaits the verdict in the cassation of Ra'ouf's case.
As a year has passed since Ra'ouf's imprisonment, his father tells Shahira that he's fine and he still loves her. Ghada tries to get out of her depression and hold on to life again, but she's afraid to return to Wa'el and repeat the painful experiences of the past. Shahira gets her Ph.D.
As Shahira goes to Ra'ouf's house on Dahab Island, she finds a mysterious person there telling her that he is cleaning the house. As Shahira feels lonely in Ra'ouf's absence, her father tries to help her cope. Ra'ouf suffers in prison and regrets his refusal to let Shahira visit him.
After Shahira discovers that Tariq quarreled with his father, Tawfiq suffers a severe stroke that affects his movement. Tawfiq returns home, losing his ability to walk, while Shahira looks after him. Tawfiq tells her about Tariq after he discovers that Tariq is the one involved in the drug case.
Ziad and Shahira go to the hospital to visit Azza after she gives birth to her second child. Ra'ouf discovers that his friend, Taher Wahdan, has passed away. Tawfiq feels that Shahira made him change his view of women. Shahira finds Ra'ouf in the house after he serves his sentence.
Ra'ouf tries to look after the son of Taher Wahdan, as per his last will. As Wa'el's mother feels tired, Ghada asks her to go to the doctor to find out what the problem is. Shahira is confused when a mysterious woman named Hosnn comes to visit Ra'ouf at his office.
Shahira is enraged with Tariq as he tries to convince them that he didn't cause Ra'ouf's imprisonment. As Shahira asks Tawfiq to forget what happened with Tariq, he refuses the matter.
As Shahira grieves after her father passes away, Tariq attends the funeral with Eissa. Shahira is angry with her uncle, while Bahaa is agonized by seeing Tariq who caused his disability. Shahira tries to move forward with her life and live on the memories of her late father.
As Ra'ouf tries to persuade Shahira to go to his brother Tariq's engagement party, she refuses. Ra'ouf and Shahira go to the island home, while she remembers the night her father died. As Shahira wants to have children again, Ra'ouf promises her to start a big family.
After Ra'ouf goes to meet a mysterious woman, he returns with sadness on his face. As Wa'el feels that Ghada is trying to erase his mother's memories, she tells him that he's unbalanced. As Shahira tries to find out why Ra'ouf is so angry, he tells her that he wants to spend some time alone.
As Shahira has an affair with Ziad to get back at Ra'ouf, she regrets what she has done. Tawfiq tells Shahira about his mother who was cheating on his father, which led him to hate all women. As Ziad goes to the cemetery, he talks about how he was behind Ra'ouf's arrest and accusation in the drug case.
As Ra'ouf remembers his mother and how his father treated her for fear of women, he recalls his relationship with his childhood love, Zahra. As Bahiga feels that Tawfiq no longer loves her like he used to, she tells Tawfiq's father that she's pregnant and that she is afraid to tell Tawfiq.
Mahmoud is surprised with Taher's desire to marry Amal, and asks him to reconsider, but Taher insists. Azza tells her sister Tahyia about her meeting with Ra'ouf during Al-Ahrar Company conference. Zahra decides to meet Ra'ouf, and feels he's the one she has been searching for.
As Amal tries to find other aspects in her relationship with Taher, he tells her that he will never forget his old girlfriend, Omaima. Ra'ouf tries to do everything he can to please his wife, Zahra. Taher is having trouble working with Wagih.
Tawfiq goes to meet his old friend, while he evades women's attempts to approach him. Amal tries to convince Taher to present a TV program in order to improve their social level. After Amal gives birth to a daughter, Taher decides to commemorate his deceased wife by naming the child Omaima.
As Taher goes to visit Nour, she tells him to forget Omaima and go on with his life for the sake of his wife and daughter. Nadim tells his wife that he has managed to win the export of chocolate abroad. As Nadim suffers from a health problem, he discovers that he has cancer.
As Ra'ouf discovers that his brother Tariq pushed him to sign the fake materials order, Tariq tells him that it's a good deal. Zahra tells Ra'ouf that he should stay away from his brother Tariq. Taher becomes busy with his daughter, Omaima, and finds himself isolated from people.
As the police are investigating the accident, they suspect that Ra'ouf was the one who ran Bahaa over. But Bahaa tells them that the perpetrator was driving a truck. Tawfiq decides to pay for all the expenses needed to treat Bahaa. Bahaa loses his leg after the accident.
As Amal's mother decides to marry a younger man, Amal feels that her fiancé is trying to swindle her. Ra'ouf goes with Zahra to the island to see their house. As Bahaa puts a prosthetic that Ra'ouf pays for, his wife wants a divorce due to his injury; Ra'ouf asks her to be patient till he gets better.
As Bahaa collapses after his wife leaves, he remembers his life with her, and he misses her even though she wasn't a good wife. When Tariq asks Ra'ouf and Tawfiq to cancel the contract with the Al-Nasr company, Tawfiq rejects the matter completely.
Ra'ouf decides to buy the Dahab Island home and hires Bahaa to look after it. As Ra'ouf tells his father that he wants to marry Zahra, his father refuses the marriage completely.
Zahra’s mother tells the truth and that her father was cheating on his wife with the wife of Mansour, Ra'ouf's grandfather. As Ra'ouf is shocked by the truth, he begins to realize how difficult it is to marry Zahra. Ra'ouf apologizes to his father and tells him that he will forget Zahra.
When Tahyia tells Ra'ouf that he must stop Zahra from getting married, he tells her that his relationship with Zahra is over. As Zahra and Ra'ouf try to move forward, they become haunted by memories of the past.

As Ra'ouf takes Shahira to his home on Dahab Island, she becomes nervous, and he tells her that she must trust him. Ra'ouf tells Shahira that he will do everything he can with his father to marry her. Ra'ouf's father agrees that his son marries Shahira. Hosnn decides to close the factory permanently.
As Ra'ouf asks Bahaa to attend his wedding to Shahira, he refuses out of fear of his reaction upon seeing Tariq. Ra'ouf marries Shahira in a big wedding ceremony. Hosnn receives death threats if she does not sell the factory. When she goes to the factory, she finds it on fire.
As Ra'ouf and Shahira go to the airport to spend their honeymoon outside Egypt, he sees Zahra, who discovers his marriage. As Ra'ouf and Shahira's relationship grows stronger, they return to Egypt after their honeymoon. Hosnn accuses someone of burning down her family's factory.
After Shahira suffers from a health crisis, the doctor asks her to rest completely until she gives birth. When Nadia discovers that Tariq is still acting recklessly, she decides to leave him for good. As Amal is angry with Taher over rumors of his relationship with Hosnn, he denies it.
As the editor-in-chief of the newspaper asks Taher not to write about Nadim's story and his enmity with Ali, he decides to resign. When Ali asks to meet Taher, Taher attacks the businessman in a moment of anger, and Ali dies. After Taher is arrested, Amal learns that he committed the murder.
Ra'ouf is sentenced to three years in prison in the case of medicinal fraud. As he tries to convince Shahira that he didn't do it, she tells him that she believes in his innocence. Taher regrets killing Ali, while his manager insists he should not leave work.
After his appeal is rejected, Ra'ouf is sent to prison, as he's being harassed there. Shahira tries to cope with his absence by focusing on taking care of her newborn.
Taher attacks Ra'ouf when he discovers that he's the one behind the medicinal fraud. Ra'ouf beats one of the prisoners, Attiyah, after tries to harass him.
The prison warden asks Ra'ouf to teach the prisoners in order to preserve his dignity in prison. Taher avoids seeing Ra'ouf. Shahira tries to cope with her life alone.
Ra'ouf decides to send Bahaa to Attiyah's family to help them financially. Ra'ouf tries to get close to Taher in order to get him through his ordeal in prison.
As Taher is released, he says goodbye to Ra'ouf before he leaves. Shahira meets Bahaa for the first time, and he tells her how he met Ra'ouf. Bahaa tells Ra'ouf that he intends to marry Attiyah's sister, Fatima.
After Tawfiq quarrels with Tariq, Shahira discovers that Tawfiq had suffered a stroke. As Taher goes to visit Ra'ouf in prison, he tells him that he is waiting for his release in a few weeks. When Amal goes to check on Taher, she discovers that he's dead.
Ra'ouf feels shocked after Taher's sudden death. As Hosnn goes to pay her condolences to Amal, she tells her that she's willing to stand by her no matter the cost. As Ra'ouf's sentence is over, he goes home. Shahira is surprised by his return, as everyone rejoices.
As Ra'ouf tells Shahira that her father is dead, he stands by her and helps her get through it. As Omaima becomes more attached to Ra'ouf, she tells him that her mother does not love her. When Omaima suffers from a health problem, Ra'ouf discovers that she has fallen into a diabetic coma.
As Tariq marries Othman's daughter, Ra'ouf goes with Shahira to attend the wedding. When Zahra tries to reach Ra'ouf, he goes to meet her, only to discover that her days in life are numbered. Ra'ouf feels that he had betrayed Shahira just by being with Zahra in the same place.
As Zahra goes to see Bahaa, she tells him to look after Ra'ouf. Ra'ouf tells Bahaa that he regrets his feelings for Zahra and considers himself unfaithful. Amal thanks Ra'ouf for standing by her. As Ra'ouf confesses his betrayal to Shahira, she leaves the house and cheats on Ra'ouf with Ziad.
