Mr. Salah's son, Ahmed, is upset that he got low grades in spite of studying hard. Omar is mad at his friend Mazen. Salah advises his kids to calm down and not to rush to decisions.

Mazen and Omar have a fight while playing. The kids' mother criticizes her daughter, Sara, after hearing her singing local songs. Mazen's father complains to Salah about Omar's bad behaviors. Salah advises his kids not to listen to festival songs.

Miss Anhar complains to her friend and colleague, Salah, about her aunt who took her share in her mother's inheritance. Salah talks with his mother-in-law Dawlat, who is Anhar's aunt's friend, about the situation, and everyone advises her that it's wrong to take an orphan's money.

Mr. Salah advises everyone to plant vegetables, flowers, and roses on their roof. The residents of the building are convinced and proceed to implement it. Salah's idea succeeds and they reap their first crop.

Mr. Salah is upset with the lack of musical instruments in the school music room and that children skip the music class. Salah files a complaint against himself since he gets a salary without working. The Ministry sends an inspector to investigate Salah, and he turns to be Salah's childhood friend.

Salah invites his friend, Inspector Sherif, to lunch to introduce him to his family. Salah's mother-in-law tells Sherif that the problem is that the ministry doesn't provide adequate support to improve music and develop it in schools.

Salah is angry with his kids and wife after noticing how they're very consumed with social media. Mr.Yassar suggests to his friend Salah that they form a band and sing together.

Mazen's father quarrels with his wife, Fakha over Mazen wanting to go to his friend's birthday party. Mazen leaves the house, and his father and Salah go look for him.

Mazen asks Omar to help him beat one of his friends. Omar's brother, Ahmed, finds out and tells his grandpa, Saleh. Salah advises his son not to fight with his classmates again.

Salah refuses to let his son Ahmed go with his friends on a trip. Salah suggests to his school principal that they bring the school league back, but she refuses. Saleh asks his son Salah to go with his children on a trip.

Mazen's stepmother, Fakha, quarrels with Effat and her mother Dawlat over the kids. Fakha tells her husband about what happened, and he reproaches Salah for what his wife and mother-in-law did with his wife.

Salah quarrels with his wife, Effat, over her fight with Fakha, but she refuses to apologize to her. Dawalt reconciles her daughter and her husband, Salah.

Salama quarrels with his wife Fakha over her frequent visits to her mother and their messy home. Salama complains to Salah about his marital problems, and he advises him to calm down and wait before making a decision.

Mazen's father, Salama, decides to open a kiosk at the entrance of the building, but his wife tells him it's not allowed. Salah talks to Mazen's father and persuades him to forget about the kiosk idea.

Salah is upset with Salama after learning that his son Mazen asked Omar to give false testimony in his favor. When Dawlat suspects that Saleh is not fasting during Ramadan, she tells his son Salah, who assures her that it is not true.

Salah wakes up angry at his kids and his wife. Dawlat calls his father, Saleh, who calms Salah down and asks him to play him a song.

Saleh flirts with his son's mother-in-law and gives her flowers, but she throws it on the floor. Salah and his wife try to reconcile the two.

The school principal, Afkar, is plotting against Salah for causing problems at school. She tells him that he will be under investigation, and he becomes sick. His friend, Yassar, tells him about the plot.

Fakha incites Mazen to steal Omar's bag from in front of the building. Salah suspects that Fakha is behind it, and he plots to get the bag back.

Salah submits a request to the Ministry to bring back the school's broadcast, but Miss Afkar refuses his idea. The Ministry requests to investigate her for rejecting the matter.

The school principal, Afkar, accuses Salah of squandering public money after taking money to buy school supplies but buying books for the school instead. Grandpa Saleh calls Sherif, his son's friend, to help them find a solution.

Omar complains to his grandpa, Saleh, and his grandma, Dawlat, that no one cares about him and they don't not listen to him. Dawlat advises her daughter, Effat, to sit with her young children and listen to their problems.

Salah's kids ask him for clothes for Eid, and he tries to figure out with Effat how to come up with the money. Ahmed overhears them and asks his father to go with him to buy Eid clothes for his siblings but he doesn't get anything for himself.

Sara enters the Student Union elections and her brother Ahmed decides to help her. Sara is upset after learning that her fellow competing students have removed her billboards, and her father advises her not to do the same.

Sara loses the elections, and her family tries to comfort her. Sara discovers that she's appointed as an assistant to the president of the Student Union and she rejoices.

Ahmed admires his university classmate, Farida, and asks his friend to stay away from her and not talk about her badly. Salah advises his son Ahmed about matters related to marriage.

Omar borrows money from Mazen, and Ahmed finds out but Omar lies about it. When Salah finds out, he reproaches Omar for lying to him, and for treating his older brother badly.

Omar prepares his clothes for the school trip. Salah argues with Afkar for refusing to let his friend, Yassar, accompany them on the school trip. Everyone gets lost because of Dawlat, and a man from the desert saves them.

Salah meets the artist Moustafa Amar and he shows him his tunes. Salah's mother-in-law suggests that he asks Moustafa Amar to perform at the school event among the students.
