Shadow is a man with a past who only wants a quiet life away from problems with his wife, until he finds out that she was killed in a terrible accident. He tries to travel home for her funeral, only to find a man sitting in the seat next to him on the plane calling himself Mr. Wednesday, who warns him of a dangerous storm coming that will turn everything upside down.
