Maddie is an attractive woman, who is also an expert in fraud and deception, as she has long been accustomed to marrying others with many fake identities, and then she quickly flees with the valuables from those she married.
Maddie faces difficulty escaping her past after stealing a ring. She resorts to Richard's hometown in order to sell it, before discovering that deception may lead her to greater, unpredictable risks.
