After he learns that he is sterile, Nabil disposes of his daughter Amira before he shoots his wife, Dalia. Informed that there has been a mix-up with the tests, Nabil kills himself. Dalia survives and spends the next 20 years looking for Amira. Ibrahim tells Hesham that Mariam is not his daughter.

Ibrahim dies after telling Hesham and Mariam that Nabil had him adopt Mariam. When he read about Nabil and Dalia's death and their daughter's disappearance in the papers, Ibrahim learned that the child is their daughter. By the time he knew of Dalia's survival, Mariam refused to leave.

When Ibrahim's brother asks Hanady to impersonate Amira in front of her mother, she asks him to get rid of the real Amira first. Ehsan tells Mona that he wants to marry the singer Nesrine. Ibrahim's brother visits Mariam's house to take some gold proving that Amira is Dalia and Nabil's daughter.

When David tells Mona that Nesrine is a cabaret singer, she asks Dalia and Nader to go to meet her. Wagiha tells Mariam that she will get her a job with David Mubarak. Mariam tells Hesham that she doesn't want to return to her biological mother.

When Nader and Dalia tell Mona that Ehsan and Nesrine have agreed to wed, Mona talks about the characteristics of those who marry cabaret singers. Hesham convinces Hanady that impersonating Amira and staying with Dalia will protect her from Wassim. Hesham calls Dalia to offer information about Amira.

Dalia tells Nader that she got a call about Amira's whereabouts. As Dalia goes to Hesham's house, Hanady refuses to meet her because she abandoned her as a child. Wagiha takes Mariam to meet David so that she could start working for him.

As Hanady impersonates Amira, she forgives Dalia and asks her to consider Hesham a friend, giving her the gold that Hesham stole from Mariam. Dalia takes Hanady home and introduces her to her friends as her daughter.

It's revealed that Wassim is looking for Jawhara. Mona advises Ehsan to get close to Dalia's daughter Amira to wed her. Hesham tells Mariam that he is going to leave Beirut. Filled with suspicion, Nader advises Dalia to run tests to confirm that Hanady is actually Amira.

Hanady and Hesham plot for the latter to get close to Dalia to get her away from Nader. David asks Janet to find a room for the new girl that Wagiha had him hire. Salam is annoyed that Mariam has started working for David. Hesham tells Lola that he will get money out of his niece's return to her mother.

Mariam rents a room with Janet. Hanady tells Dalia that she wants to be with her at the company. Janet tells Mariam that Karim, the owner of a tourism company, is known for being a womanizer. Nader and David go to Nesrine's nightclub.

Ehsan asks Nader and David not to tell Mona that Nesrine works at a nightclub. David asks Mariam to welcome his guests and clients, starting with Nader and Mona. David talks to Mariam about an old employee whom he fired after she robbed him.

David asks Salam to teach Mariam the intricacies of their jobs. Mona disapproves of Ehsan and Nesrine's marriage after Ehsan comes clean about Nesrine's profession. David asks Ellie to find a job abroad for Nesrine to get her away from Ehsan. Hesham changes Hanady's papers so that she could legally be Amira.

Fifi and Nesrine ask Karim to get close to Mona for money. Nesrine marries Mona's son. Hesham tells Mariam that he met Dalia Harb and her daughter, indicating that Ibrahim's confession was only a hallucination. Ehsan defends Mariam when some men harass her.

Wassim's man, Shahrour, continues to look for Malak. Ehsan accepts Dalia's dinner invitation, along with Mona, David, and Nader. Dalia starts telling Hanady about the company's financial details, including the company accounts and expenses.

Ellie tells David that Nesrine will be going to Cairo for a 6-month contract. Hesham threatens Hanady to get her to obey his orders. When Ehsan takes Nesrine to buy a dress from David, he learns that Mariam is his secretary. Mona asks Tarek to help her to get Ehsan to leave Nesrine.

Nagwa tells Raja that David brought Mariam to replace her. Janet tells Mariam that David shared the news that Dalia found gold and clothes with her recently-returned daughter. Karim gets information about Mona from Janet.

Mariam considers it revenge that Dalia has found the wrong daughter. As Mariam discovers that her childhood clothes and gold are missing, she confirms that Hesham is the one who took them. Hanady and Hesham think of a way to get rid of Nader.

Karim informs Nesrine and Fifi that he has started gathering information about Mona to get close to her. Hesham asks Hanady to make him her secretary. Ehsan tells Tarek that he will replace Nesrine with Mariam.

As Hesham mulls over Hanady's words about getting rid of Dalia, Dalia asks Nader to make Hesham Hanady's secretary. Emad Al-Shamy tries to get close to Mariam. Yomna tells Karim that Mona has sworn off men since her husband's death, dedicating her life to her son and work.

Mona tells Nader that something is off about Hesham. Karim and Fifi devise a plan to get close to Mona. Ehsan asks David about Mariam. Hesham questions Dalia about Nader's reserved treatment of him. Salam and Nagwa inform Raja that David has put Mariam above everyone.

Nader starts looking for information on Hesham. Hanady reflects on how her family married her off to an elderly man called Sa'eid. Fifi gets Ehsan drunk. Nesrine is annoyed when she discovers that the nightclub in Egypt is subpar.

It's revealed that Karim sabotaged Ehsan's house so that he could drive him home and meet Mona. David tells Janet that he is concerned that Mariam will fall for Ehsan, whose mother only wants Amira as a bride for her son. Nader tells Dalia that there is no record of Hesham having any legal problems.

When Dalia visits David at the company, she meets Mariam. Ehsan invites Hanady for a night out. Karim sends Mona flowers before arriving to check up on Ehsan. Janet reveals that David left Mariam money to buy clothes as she prepares to meet Ehsan.

Ehsan goes out with Mariam. Karim tells Fifi that he will walk away if he has trouble getting Mona to fall for him. Ehsan tells Hanady that she got him to fall out of love with Nesrine. Ahmed tells Nesrine about Wassim and his search for Malak.

Hanady reflects on how she cheated on her husband, Sa'eid, with Melhem. Karim gets Ehsan to turn over a new leaf and start working in Mona's company. Lola recalls how Hesham agreed to get rid of her husband, Aref, so that he could replace him.

As Hesham considers getting rid of Lola, he leaves her house. Lola agrees to let Abu Al-Nar replace Hesham at the nightclub. Hanady remembers how Sa'eid killed Melhem after finding her in the latter's arms. Hesham and Hanady grow worried when Mariam accepts Dalia's invitation to the party.

Mariam and Hesham pretend not to know each other. Hesham feigns annoyance that Lola got Abu Al-Nar to replace him. Mariam sees her childhood room. Nesrine refuses to accept the money that Wassim sent her as a token of appreciation.

Hehsam claims he pretended not to know Mariam because he told Dalia that his brother is childless. Mariam asks him about why Hanady calls him uncle. Ehsan tells Mona that he is thinking of a project that will bring him and Karim together.

Ehsan likes Karim's projects. Ehsan kisses Amira when they meet. David starts teaching Marim to design clothes. When Ehsan tells Karim that they need to know more about him, Mona discovers that he is a womanizer and a swindler, but he claims that those were youthful mistakes.

Nesrine recalls her sexual assault at the hand of a composer. David borrows money from Nader to pay his employees' salaries. Raja asks Salam and Nagwa to bring the rest of the girls to work with her. Ehsan suspects that Hanady had previous relationships due to her kissing experience.

Mona confronts Karim with the fact that he gets foreign women to provide for him. Hesham gets a newspaper with the news that Malak Zahran is dead. Nader learns that David is in debt because he spends all his money on a girl called Dalida.

Nader and Dalia discover that David has huge debts. Hanady gets a hymenoplasty. Wassim learns that Malak was killed. David tells Janet that the latest collection is his only way out of debt.

Hanady refuses to sleep with Ehsan and asks him to marry her. When Fifi tells Nesrine that she saw Ehsan with Dalia's daughter, Nesrine asks Wassim to take her back to Lebanon. As Mariam confesses her love for Ehsan, she learns that Mona won't approve of their marriage because of Dalia's daughter.

Ehsan tells Tarek that Mariam refused to allow him to kiss her. Mona asks Dalia's opinion about Karim. Nader advises David to keep his distance from Dalida lest she leads him to bankruptcy.

Mona asks David to stay away from Dalida. Mariam apologizes for not telling David about her connection to Dalia or her relationship with Ehsan. Wassim brings Nesrine back to Lebanon. Ehsan tells Mona that Mariam is his girlfriend. Janet confesses to Mariam that she loves David.

Ehsan is surprised when he sees Hanady dancing seductively at a nightclub. When Tarek tells Mona that Ehsan is in love with Mariam, Mona asks Mariam to stay away from Ehsan. Lola asks Abu Al-Nar to find out Dalia's address to blackmail Hesham.

As Mariam checks on the business in David's stead, Emad invites her out to eat, and they are seen by Ehsan and Hanady. It appears that Nesrine has slept with Wassim. Mona gets close to Karim, leaving him to go back on his agreement with Fifi and Nesrine. Hesham starts to get close to Dalia.

Hanady tries to convince Ehsan that Mariam is stepping out on him. Emad gets close to Mariam and asks her to be his girlfriend. Hanady yells at her maid and demands that she calls her Ms. Amira. Mariam screams as Hesham tries to strangle her.
