Kishan is a carefree singer from a small town with big dreams about forming his own band. His dreams are shattered when he gets into a brawl with an IAS officer and gets sentenced to life imprisonment for his murder. In prison, he meets NGO worker, Gayatri, who is organising an inter-jail music competition. This is when he and four inmates form a band and together they plan their way to freedom.
