As Adam and Jonny go to their weekly dinner with their parents Jackie and Martin, the parents start clearing some old stuff out. They get interrupted by their neighbor who comes to use their toilet, and the parents run into trouble as they try to move the sofa bed downstairs.

Adam and Jonny spy on Martin, who's doing a peculiar thing in his room. Martin wants Adam to meet a girl through a dating site but he is more focused on hearing a jingle he made on the radio, but sadly, they can't find any radio in the house.

As Jackie's crude mother comes for a visit, she enrages her when she tells her that her new curtains look awful. As they have dinner, things go crazy when Adam makes one of his practical jokes.

As Martin tries to find a way to save his magazines from being burned by Jackie, Jackie's friend comes to show off her dress that she's wearing for her daughter's wedding. Adam teases Jonny because his girlfriend won't come to the wedding.

On Adam's birthday, things get crazy as he runs into the dreadful Sheila who owns a fancy Mercedes, and the family runs into her and her husband as well when they go out for dinner.

Adam is shocked when he finds that Jackie is setting him up with his childhood friend Tanya, but as the evening progresses, Adam becomes embarrassed by his family's weird behaviors.
