When Nesrine marries Naguib behind her family's back, her parents disown her, but her sister Sherine stands by her.

Naguib leaves Nesrine. Sherine aborts her baby on her husband Qusay's orders. It's revealed that Sherine is a drug addict.

Sherine and Nesrine get in an accident. When Sherine passes away, Nesrine lies and takes advantage of the fact that they are twins to take her sister's identity.

Nesrine's mother goes mute when she learns of Sherine's death. Nesrine learns that Qusay was prostituting his wife for his own gain.

It's revealed that Qusay knows that Sherine is the one who passed away. He proceeds to take advantage of Nesrine and forces her to follow his orders.

When Afaf suspects that her husband Marwan is cheating on her, her friend Razan encourages her to ask Jaber to keep an eye on Marwan.

Jaber decides to destroy Afaf and Marwan's life. It's revealed that Razan wants to marry Marwan, which is why she incited Afaf against him and made a deal with Jaber to drive a wedge between the couple.

Tensions arise between Marwan and Afaf due to her jealousy and Jaber's insistence that Marwan is cheating on her. Jaber rapes Afaf after sedating her.

Jaber blackmails Afaf with the pictures he took of her rape. He starts to implement his nefarious plans to get her to follow his orders and destroy Marwan.

When Afaf falls pregnant, Marwan is sure that she has cheated on him since he is sterile. Afaf can not bear it and takes her own life.

Hadow manipulates Rabab and strings her along. It's revealed that Abu Amal (Amal's father) killed his wife after he grew suspicious of her, even though she is innocent, leaving his sister to look after Amal.

Hadow sleeps with Rabab. Sa'eid falls for Amal. When Amal's father learns that she has met Sa'eid, he tortures her.

As Abu Amal decides to marry Amal off to Hadow without consulting her, he ends up forcing her to marry him.

Sa'eid is shocked when he learns that Amal has gotten married, a feeling that is mirrored by Rabab when she learns that Hadow has abandoned her. Amal learns that Hadow has his eyes on her father's money. Amal cheats on Hadow with Sa'eid to get revenge on the former.

Amal is shocked when she learns that she is pregnant. As she is unable to determine the baby's paternity, she decides to abort it. Hadow learns about Amal's infidelity. When her father learns about it too, he gets paralyzed, leaving Hadow to seize his property.

Ma'rouf splits from his wife Dina. Shady confesses his love for Haifaa. It's revealed that Umm Shady (Shady's mother) wants to marry Ma'rouf.

Haifaa grows scared of telling her sister about her feelings for Shady. Hayat is shocked when she learns that Ma'rouf wants to marry her, but she eventually agrees to leave the life of poverty behind.

As Ma'rouf marries Hayat, the latter feels uncomfortable due to the age difference between them, leaving her unhappy in her marital life.

Dina decides not to let go of Ma'rouf. Shady starts to fall for Hayat. Jamila incites Umm Shady against Hayat.

Hayat aborts her baby out of love for Shady. Shady regrets having an affair with Hayat. Atta gets revenge on Hayat. Ma'rouf leaves Hayat after he exposes what she did.

When Safaa learns that her manager is working as a pimp, she quits her job and refuses to work with her. Ziad decides to expedite his marriage to Safaa.

Safaa's mother approves his daughter's marriage to Ziad. Mounir gets revenge on Safaa and locks her up. Safaa's mother dies out of shock.

Mounir forces Safaa to sign promissory notes to control her. As Ziad weds Safaa, Mounir provides them with an apartment, but it's soon revealed that Mounir has ulterior motives.

Ziad learns that Mounir facilitates prostitution. In order to give her the promissory notes, Mounir sleeps with Safaa.

Haifaa gets arrested. As Safaa kills Mounir, Ziad learns about it and passes away from the shock. The police arrest Mounir's daughter in her father's brothel.

After they lose their baby, Khalil tries to support his wife. Sila applies for a job in Naguib's company.

It's revealed that Khalil is cheating on his wife with Sila. As Naguib's warehouse gets robbed, it's revealed that Khalil is behind the robbery. Khalil asks Sila to ingratiate herself to Naguib for his own benefit.

Khalil quarrels with his wife due to her jealousy. Wadi' catches feelings for Sila. Walid grows suspicious of Khalil after the warehouse robbery. Nahed lands Khalil's wife a hand.

Sila asks Wadi' to kill Khalil, who slips into a coma. Naguib weds Sila, who becomes an actress; he soon grows resentful of her new status.

As Khalil wakes up from his coma, he decides to exploit Naguib. It's revealed that Sila has evidence against Khalil as insurance that he won't expose her.
