As the Syrian people live in poverty and oppression because of the war in Syria, Joud tries to force Razan not to work.
When Joud tries to help Razan with money, she refuses. He discovers that she's in a relationship with a soldier serving in Aleppo. Samia tries to take care of her son, who is in a coma.
Samia tries to convince Wafa to sell their house in Aleppo because of their difficult financial situation, but he feels that selling his house is a betrayal of his country. Farah suspects that there is a relationship between Joud and Razan.
Wafa decides to not sell his house in Aleppo, and plans to move with his family and live there. Razan meets a man named Firas, who gets into an accident on the road, and she helps him.
As Razan takes Firas to the hospital, Firas's father suspects that she is the one who hit his son with her car. The police investigate Razan for the accident.
When Joud discovers that Razan stole the envelope with the money, he decides to confront her, and she quarrels with him.
Joud goes to Razan and tries to apologize to her. Salem gets a leave of absence from the army to find his family. Basim wakes up from his coma.
The doctor tells Wafa that Basim will not speak or move for months. As Farah watches Joud and Salem, Joud shows Salem the video of Razan stealing from him.
Salem refuses to believe Joud's video or that Razan is a thief. Joud suspects that his mother framed Razan for the theft.
Farah justifies her actions by saying that Razan is after Joud's money, and tells him to stay away from her for good; Joud decides to leave the house. Wafa goes to buy a new palace with his family.
Anwar tries to fix things between Joud and his mother. Salem tells Razan that he will marry her when the war ends.
Salem returns to Aleppo. When Wafa and Razan go to meet Farah, she insults them in her home. Wafa and his family try to adapt to the new conditions away from Aleppo.
Farah reconciles matters with Joud and asks him to get married. Wafa and his family move to a terrible home. Wafa plans to hold the wedding of Razan and Salem.
Wafa informs Razan and Salem that he has decided to officiate their marriage on the first day of the new year. Joud goes to meet his father after a long feud.
As the army exchanges fire with the terrorists, Salem gets wounded. He is transferred to the hospital and his condition improves.
Hisham discovers that his wife hid her pregnancy from him. Samia is worried that Basim will return to his normal life to discover the troubles that the family fell into. Salem dies.
Joud tries to help Razan overcome the tragedy of Salem's death. Basim gradually recovers. Wafa ends up working in a restaurant.
Farah devises a plot against her husband. Basim experiences a nervous breakdown when he faces the reality that he was away from for a long time.
Wafa decides to sell his father's antique watch to Bakry in order to solve his financial problems. Joud tries to convince Razan to be with him.
Basim fails to remember his sister and her son, which affects his psychological state. Razan offers for Joud to marry her.

When Joud hides Razan in his house, Farah finds out and the situation turns on them. When Basim goes to Dalia and asks to see his daughter, he finds out that Diana, his wife, got married.
When Razan feels that Joud has abandoned her with his mother, she decides to stay away from him. Basim is shocked when he sees his daughter's picture.
Basim disguises himself in the clothes of an airport driver in order to see his daughter and kidnap her from her mother. Basim remembers his sister Dima and informs them of his return home.
Anwar goes to reconcile with Dima. Basim's wife goes to the police to report the kidnapping of her daughter. Basim hides a bag full of jewelry and cash in his father's house.
Dima discovers that Basim has kidnapped his daughter. Wafa informs his family that he has decided to sell his house in Aleppo and buy Anwar's house. The police come to Wafa's house to search for Basim and his daughter.
Basim runs away from the house so that the police don't catch him. Wafa finds the money and jewelry that Basim had hidden.
Razan tells Joud that she has stayed with him because of Salem's will and refuses to return. When Wafa confronts his son Basim with the money, he refuses to tell him where it came from.
Farah decides to get rid of Razan to keep her away from Joud, by arranging to have her killed inside a mall. Basim prepares for surgery to walk normally again.
